Quicken vs. QuickBooks

Accounting Systems do the following:1. Accurately measure your profits and

statements3. Keep detailed records of assets (inventory)

and liabilities

Quicken is a good fit for personal finances, or a very small services only business. Quicken can’t do #3, so if you need to track anything other than cash… choose QuickBooks.

What’s New?

New features in QuickBooks 2006 are mainly around ease of use. There were no changes to online banking in this release. The enhancements include:

– New Home Page (combines what was 5 different Navigators)
