It´s the subject that studies the general notions of law offering a wider view of its branches and a synthesis of its historic evolution and different thinking of the legal reasoning.
Contents of Introduction to Law
Dogmatic: Theory of Law.
Descriptive: Encyclopedia of Positive Law.
Historic: General History of Law.

Analyzes the origins, essences, factors that involve its formation, sources and the means of law.
(Descriptive) Encyclopedia of Positive Law
Studies the division of law, by its jurisdiction and competence , in National and International; or by the presence or absence of the State in Public and Private, analyzing its reality, struggles and problems.
(Historic) General History of Law
It´s a review of the evolution of law and its different moments that have dominated in history, specially Roman Law.

Students will read the referred book already provided by the Professor, and will surrender a reading control at the end of the first Curricular block (mid October) (First 80 Pages) and a book report on the last working day of November.
Movie
Students will watch one per Curricular Block, at home with a link provided by the teacher; First Curricular Block “The Great Dictator” (Charles Chaplin), afterwards they will post a comment of two hundred words about the movie, logging through the link below, before October 14th .

RECOMENDATIONS
The movies and books will be provided at the beginning of the school year so students have sufficient time to comply the required work.
All the classes will be prepared in PowerPoint presentations and emailed to the students for their review and study.
During the classes students will inquire and discuss about all the information provided so there are no doubts in the subjects treated during the course, never the less students may interact with the teacher online for further information.
It´s recommended to start a culture of lecture and study per day so there are no struggles in passing the school year.
Students are required to have a Gmail account to interact and provide evidence of the work done in the course in a blog that each student will create and feed permanently.
