Everyone has the right to live in a place they can be proud of

Places that are attractive, safe, clean and green, with great community facilities and plenty to do.

This is often not the case, particularly in poorer areas.

Economic change and public sector cuts hit poorest areas hardest

Councils can no longer support community regeneration
