n Power generation
n The maximum power output of wind power is 7.70 GW,accounting for 32% of the day’s maximum power output.
n The maximum on-grid daily output is 13.95 GWh, accounting for 25.5% of total daily on-grid power.
n The maximum power output of PV is 1.05 GW.
n In 2013, about 21,977 GWh of wind power is put on grid, accounting for 11.1% of total power. The percentage is expected to be around 20% in 2020.

variable renewable energy
Some issues in grid integration of variable renewable energy
n Key factors in developing wind power
n The determining factor is price. Effective subsidy and incentive need to be established to encourage integration of wind power so that the wind power can serve as a substitute energy source and eventually become the main power source.
n Prediction and control technology is necessary to integrate high penetration of renewables into the grid
n Wind power AGC, AVC & PV AGC, AVC
n Flexible generation plays an essential roll
n Gas Turbine, Hydro, Pumped Hydro
n Faster dispatch
n Current grid dispatching management model needs to be adjusted to accommodate renewable
n Coordination of various power resources needs economic and regulatory policies
n Electricity market, Ancillary services market, Quota system, Assessment indicators of energy consumption per kilowatt for local government
