Good evening brethren!

This day will be noted as to be one of those rare and wonderful moments because

of our invited guest. His name echoes the essence of service, dedication and

faithfulness to the work of God.

According to D. L. Moody, God always uses the man closest to His heart.

Undeniably, our guest preacher, Rev. Doc. Renato Layco, who came to know the

Lord on August 11, 1978, is a man close to God’s heart.

Dr. Layco is a diligent worker of God’s vineyard from August of 1979 up to

present, reaching out and transforming people’s lives through preaching the

word of God.

He is happily married to Mrs. Digna Narciso Layco, from Paniqui, Tarlac on May

7, 1988.

His achievements even prior to being a Pastor are truly commendable. He

graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering at Tarlac State University and

passed the Board Exam for BSEE.

Bold spirited, he took up and finished his degree in Bachelor of Theology as well

as Master of Theology at Liberty College in Lynchburg, Virginia USA in 1996; while

his Doctor of Theology at Knox Theological Seminary in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

USA in the year 2000.

At present, he is a Resource Speaker, a dynamite preacher frequently invited by

different churches to share the word of God for various occasions; a Church

Consultant; a Counselor; a Bible Teacher and a Bible School Director.

As J. Hudson Taylor once said, “All of God’s great men are men who did great

things for God because they reckoned on His being with them; they counted on

His faithfulness.” Indeed, our guest preacher for tonight is a man with great faith.

And that seed of faith is the reason for him being here tonight.

A man I personally admire because of his wisdom, generous heart, caring spirit
