What type of business / service I can work on?

• Any type of E-commerce projects which need payment features.

• Ex: Rakuten Ichiba (EC marketplace), Rakuten Travel (online booking), any new launch EC services.

• Yes we work with Rakuten FinTech services as well to enable any Rakuten Services to use these Rakuten FinTech services via our Payment Platform.

languages?

• Both Japan and global

• Communication languages are English and Japanese and any other languages (It depends on the project members you work with).

JD about Engineer and Product Manager for Payment Platform(As of Dec, 2017)

Engineer for Payment Platform

Responsibilities:

• Specification, design, coding, testing, release as well as maintenance of software programs

• Depending on your skills and experience you may also be tasked with the job of a technical or project leader

Minimum Qualifications:

• Hands-on development experience in JAVA (minimum 3 years)

• Experience in development with DBMS(Oracle, MySQL, etc.)

• Web application development experience

• UNIX/Linux experience

• 3 to 10 years of development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in E-Commerce and Fintech industries

• Have experience connecting with payment services and systems

Product Manager for Payment Platform

Responsibilities:

• Product Management using modern methodologies such as Agile

• Define product road-maps, feature prioritization and feature enhancements

• Business requirements definition, product specifications, stakeholder management

• Negotiation with payment service providers from different countries

• Documentation for product materials and specifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree (BS) in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Business or related field

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications

• 3+ years as a product manager of a large scale web service

• Experience with Agile development and related tools such as JIRA and Confluence

• Experience in defining and analyzing business requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or advanced degree in a related area• Industry knowledge of financial transaction processing systems in E-commerce,

FinTech, Credit Card and Payment industries
