IntroductionEducation system is as becoming the most important basic need of the Developing countries. Pakistan is also among the list of developing countries according to recent research. Education system in each and every country is the first priorities rather than the other ministries of any country. In Contrast with the other countries, Pakistan is having the education system which is very much prominent. Education system in Pakistan is the system which is crossing among the various ups and down. Pakistan and government of Pakistan is struggling towards improving the education system in Pakistan but all in vain. Education is the most important need of the nations and without education Pakistan and other countries like Pakistan cannot be survived.

As we all know that education system in Pakistan is the most devastating system of Pakistan and in contrast with other projects and other system continuing in Pakistan successfully. Education System in Pakistan is the system of quality assurance and the system of basic delivering knowledge as much as the education institutions are serving theses days. Education is good the quality of Human resource, Physical resources and the other factors of Production are automatically improving. Education system is the head of all the systems in PakistanEducation system in Pakistan is overseen by Ministry of Education of Government of Pakistan. The academic institutions are the responsibility of the provincial governments whereas the federal government mostly assists in curriculum development, accreditation and some financing of research. The education system in Pakistan is generally divided into five levels: primary (grades one through five); middle (grades six through eight); high (grades nine and ten, leading to the Secondary School Certificate or SSC); intermediate (grades eleven and twelve, leading to a Higher Secondary (School) Certificate or HSC); and university programs leading to graduate and advanced degrees.

Education system of Pakistan:The education system of Pakistan is comprised of 260,903 institutions and is facilitating 41,018,384 students with the help of 1,535,461 teachers. The system includes 180,846 public institutions and 80,057 private institutions. Hence 31% educational institutes are run by private sector while 69% are public institutes

Importance of Education:

We all know the importance of education. It is the most important aspect of any nations survival today. Education builds the nations; it determines the future of a nation. ISLAM also tells us about Education and its importance. The real essence of Education according to ISLAM is to know ALLAH but I think in our country we truly lost. Neither our schools nor our madrassas (Islamic Education Centres) are truly educating our youth in this regard. In schools, we are just preparing them for Money. We arent educating them we are just preparing Money Machines. We are only increasing the burden of the books for our children and just enrolling them in a reputed, big school for what, just for social status??? On the other hand in our madrassas we are preparing people who finds very difficult to adjust in the modern society. Sometimes it seems that they are from another planet. A madrassa student cant compete even in our country then the World is so far from him. He finds very difficult to even speak to a school boy. It is crystal clear that Islamic Education is necessary for Muslims but it is also a fact that without modern education no one can compete in this world. There are many examples of Muslim Scholars who not only study the Holy Quraan but also mastered the other subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and many more, with the help of Holy Quraan. I think with the current education system we are narrowing the way for our children instead of widening it. There is no doubt that our children are very talented, both in schools and in madrassas, we just need to give them proper ways to groom, give them the space to become Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Iqbal, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Alberoni, Abnalhasam, or Einstein, Newton, Thomas Edison. The education system we are running with is not working anymore. We have to find a way to bridge this gap between school and madrassa.

Importance of educationEducation is very important to both your personal and professional life, in a number of significant ways! The foundation of every state is the education of its youth. Diogenes LaertiusEducation is very important for every human being. It makes one able to understand what is happening around us logically and clearly. Only educated person has the ability to take practical decisions and make right moves at the right time. Human existence without education is just like fecund land. Education not only enables individuals to put their potential to best use and do something productive in the upcoming future, but also plays a main role in shaping an individual to be a better, responsible citizen and an active member of the society. An educated person with self-confidence and precise moves knows how to transform the world. Education provides the ladder for achieving success in life and enables us to utilize skills and caliber in a constructive way. Therefore, its the prime responsibility of an individual to get educated and live a prosperous life while being a responsible citizen.

Related to your islamWe all know the importance of education. On the other hand in our madrassas we are preparing people who finds very difficult to adjust in the modern society

Related to your profession Education is often the best tool for creating wealth and happiness. Education can help your long-term economic prospects and help you obtain and maintain a home or business in the future.

Related to your life :Imagine a world without schools and colleges! Impossible, right? No matter how much we hate waking up early for school or studying all night for those tests and exams, we all know that education is very important. Now, I am not saying that an uneducated man has no chance of being successful or an educated man will surely do well in life. Exceptions are always there. However most of us will agree that an educated person gets better opportunities in life. It is easier for him to become successful and realize his dreams as compared to someone who is uneducated. Other than success and economic prosperity, there are various other reasons why education is almost necessity in todays world.15.Overcoming SuperstitionsSuperstitions are baseless, useless and may affect your life negatively. Illiterate and uneducated people often tend to hold certain superstitious beliefs. Education and awareness are the best ways to combat superstitions and replace such beliefs with reason and logic.14. Keeping up with the worldWe live in an ever changing world. New technologies keep coming up and if you dont want to be left behind, you must keep up with the world which is moving really fast. Without education it will be really difficult for you to adapt to all these changes. An educated person is much more aware of the latest technologies and all the changes that are taking place in the world. For example, an uneducated person may not know about the benefits of the internet whereas an educated person uses this gift of technology regularly for work as well as for entertainment.13.Education and healthcareIlliteracy often breeds ignorance and this ignorance may prove to be dangerous when it comes to healthcare. Educated people know better about preventive methods which protect them from a number of diseases. An illiterate and ignorant person is more likely to ignore the symptoms and avoids seeking medical aid unless the problem becomes very serious. Hence education enables you to take better care of yourself as well as your family.12. RespectEverybody likes a wise and knowledgeable person! Educated people are considered highly reputable in the society. The more educated you are, the more respect you will get from those around you.11. Helps you understand the world we live inEducation is what you need if you want an answer to your whats and hows and wheres. It helps you understand the world you live in. You get to know more about your surroundings as well as the whole world through subjects like history, geography, science etc.10. Makes the world a safer and more peaceful placeEducation majorlyaffects our understanding of the difference between right and wrong. An educated person is well aware of the consequences of wrong/illegal actions and he is less likely to get influenced and do something which is not legally/morally right. Also, a number of uneducated people who live a poverty stricken life owning to lack of opportunities often turn to illegal ways such as theft and robbery to solve their problems. If you are educated, you are well aware of your rights, the law and your responsibilities towards the society. Hence, education is an important factor which contributes in social harmony and peace.9. Makes you confidentYour educational degree is considered as a proof of your knowledge by many. If you are educated you have more chances of being heard and taken seriously. Generally, an uneducated man will find it harder to express his views and opinions owning to lack of confidence. Even if he does so, people may not take him seriously. Education gives you the confidence to express your views and opinions.8. SocietyWe all live in a society which has its own set spoken/unspoken rules and one of them is education. The society expects you to go to school followed by college, get a job, settle down etc. In fact education helps you become a useful member of the society. An educated member certainly has a greater chance to contribute to his community. Education helps you become an active member of the society and participate in the ongoing changes and developments.7. For economic growth of the nationAustralia, USA and Japan are few countries with very high literacy rates. These countries are extremely prosperous and the citizens have a high per capita income. On the other hand, in underdeveloped and developing nations, where literacy rate is not as high, a number of people are still living below the poverty line. Education is vital for the economic prosperity of a nation!6. Saves you from being fooled/cheatedEducationsaves you from being exploited and fooled. We live in a country where we enjoy a number of rights and freedom. It is easier to take advantage of innocent and illiterate people. They may be trapped into signing false documents or be deprived of some right which they have because unlike an educated person they are not well aware of their rights and freedoms.5. Turns your dreams into realityWhat is your dream, your aim in life? Do you want to become rich? Do you want to be popular? Do you want to be an extremely successful person who is respected by people? Well, the key to all this is education. Of course there are exceptions, like sportsmen who dont really owe their success to their education. However in most cases, your degree is what helps you realize all your dreams.4. Makes you self dependentEducation is very important if you want to be a self dependent person. It helps you become financially independent but that is not all. Education also makes you wiser so that you can make your own decisions.

3. EqualityIf we want to see the world as a just and fair place where everyone is given equal opportunities, education is what we require. Education is a must if we want to do away with the existing differences between different social classes and genders. It opens a whole world of opportunities for the poor so that they may have an equal shot at well paying jobs. Education also plays a major role in women empowerment.2. MoneyAn educated person has more chances of landing up a good high paying job. Everybody wants a good life but the good life!. It may be called as the root of all evil but most people will agree that money is important for survival in todays world. The more educated you are, the better career options you have!1. For a happy and stable lifeIf you want to lead a happy life and enjoy the good things the world has to offer, you certainly need to get educated. A great job, a good social reputation are few of the many benefits of being an educated person. Education is a must for a promising and secure future and a stable life. How to solve the education problems :Education is considered as the cheapest defense of a nation. But the down trodden condition of education in Pakistan bears an ample testimony of the fact that it is unable to defend its own sector. Though 62 years have been passed and 23 policies and action plans have been introduced yet the educational sector is waiting for an arrival of a savior. The government of Pervaiz Musharraf invested heavily in education sector and that era saw a visible positive educational change in Pakistani society. Now a days, the economic situation in Pakistan is under stress and education is the worse effected sector in Pakistan. The Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan says,The state of Pakistan shall remove illiteracy and provide free and compulsory secondary education within minimum possible period. In Human development Report Pakistan is placed at 136th position for having just 49.9%educated populace. The primary completion rate in Pakistan, given by Date Center ofUNESCO, is 33.8% in females and 47.18% in males, which shows that people in the 6th largest country of the world are unable to get the basic education.

Problems in EducationFollowing are the problems in education in Pakistan. 1. Education System is based on Unequal LinesThe educational system of Pakistan is based on unequal lines. Medium of education is different in both, public and private sector. This creates a sort of disparity among people, dividing them into two segments. 2. Regional DisparityRegional disparity is also a major cause. The schools in Baluchistan (The Largest Province Of Pakistan By Area) are not that much groomed as that of Punjab (The Largest Province Of Pakistan By Population). In FATA, the literacy rate is deplorable constituting 29.5% in males and 3% in females. 3. Ratio of Gender DiscriminationThe ratio of gender discrimination isa cause which is projecting the primary school ratio of boys & girls which is10:4 respectively. For the last few years there has been an increase in the growth of private schools. That not only harms the quality of education but creates a gap among haves and has not.4. Lack of Technical EducationThe lack of technical education is a biggest flaw in the educational policy that has never been focused before. Therefore, less technical people mean less. 5. FundsThe allocation of funds for education is very low. It is only 1.5 to 2.0 percent of the total GDP. It should be around 7% of the total GDP. 6. Untrained TeachersThe teachers in government schools are not well trained. People who do not getjob in any other sector, theytry their luck in educational system. They are not professionally trained teachers so they are unable to train a nation. 7. PovertyPoverty is also another factor that restricts the parents to send their children to public or private schools. So, they prefer to send their children to madrassas where education is totally free.

Recently, minister of education announced a new Education policy for that next 10 years. The interesting thing is that the previous educational policy from 1998 to 2010 is still not expired. Although it is projected to give new plans and to make more promises with the nation. It is said in this policy that all the public schools will be raised up to the level of private schools. No plan of action have been discussed, yet a notice is issued to private schools to induct government course in 5th and 8th class and these classes will bound to take board exams. This disturbed thestudents of private sector also.

Solutions forEducational SystemEstimating the value of education, the Government should take solid steps on this issue. Implementation instead of projecting policies should be focused on. Allocation of funds should be made easy from provinces to districts and then to educational institutes. Workshops must be arranged for teachers. Foreign states are using LSS system. This should be inducted in Pakistani schools to improve the hidden qualities of children. Technical education must be given to all the classes. The education board of Punjab has projected a plan to give tech- education to the children of industrial workers. Promotion of the primary education is the need of time. Teachers, professors and educationists should be consulted while devising any plan, syllabus or policy. The state seems to give upher responsibility and totally relying on private sector. The need of time is to bring education in its original form to masses. Burdening students with so much books will not work as he will not understand what the world is going to do next moment. Education is the only cure of the instability in the state and can bring revolution through evolution,by eradicating the social evils. This is how to remove illiteracy in Pakistan.

Another things As we know that education is the backbone in the development of any nation, it is a fact that the countries with an effective system of education lead the world, both socially and economically. The key to development is good education system. Pakistan is one of those very few countries where the system of education has constantly deteriorated. The situation at present is so bad that our system of education is almost near collapse.Student life is not as easier as it seems. Even it is not easy to wake up for schools early in the morning everyday that is a very big responsibility to reach in time. Here are some common problems of student mentioned below.Financial problemsPakistanis an underdeveloped nation, majority of our people are living on the poverty line that can barely make their both ends meet. They cannot afford even the negligible fees being charged in the government institutions, let alone the books and uniforms for which they are to pay from their own pockets. Majority of our young ones are child labor, they indulge in child labor not only to feed them selves but to support their families too.In Pakistan education is very expensive due to the shortage of public educational institutes. We have only 73 public universities and most of the population study in these universities. Similarly, there is short number of public colleges where students can get free education. Our most of the students belong to the middle class and they have very limited resources. Parents cant afford easily the expenses of studying their children. Lots of students have to work part time to sponsor their studies themselves. In students life nearly every student usually face financial crisis.Students usually have to buy books, note books, notes of their course outline and meet transportation expenses. They have to bear some extra expenses for that they cant ask to their parents as bunk classes and going out with fellows, buying gifts for their girl friends / boyfriends and many other activities.

Solution:Students can cope with these crises very easily by a little effort. There are lots of home tuition available for to teach students for 2 or 3 hours and earn money to meet their expenditures. Students can also do a part time job which is related to their studies this would give them a practical experience of their field. This experience would be helpful in future for getting a job.Banking system of educationEducation that becomes an act of depositing in which the students are the depositories & the teacher is the depositor. Instead of communicating, the teacher issues the communiquers & makes deposits which the students patiently receive, memorize & repeat. This is the banking concept of education in which the scope of action allowed to student extends only as far as receiving, filling & storing the deposits. Knowledge emerges only through invention & re-invention through restless, impatient containing hopeful inquiry Human being pursue in the world, with the world & with each other. In the banking concept of education, knowledge is the gift bestowed by those who consider themselves knowledgeable upon those whom they consider to know nothing, projecting an absolute ignorance on to others a characteristic of the ideology of oppression, negates, education as a process of inquiry. The teacher presents himself to his students as their necessary opposite, by considering their ignorance absolute, he justified his own existence. The students, alienated like the slave in the Hegelian dialectic, except their ignorance as justifying the teachers existence but unlike the slave, they never discover that they educate the teacher.

Solution:The education should be through problem Posing, a method in which a teacher Pose a problem in front of students & teacher & students do brain storming & they do dialogue which leads them towards the conclusion.Lack of guidanceIn our country, students face a lot of problems during their educational career. They are the most unguided students in the world. Neither the parent due to their ignorance due to which they cant chose proper subject and proper filed nor the teachers due to lack of professionalism are able to guide them. Lack of guidance is very serious problem which students face. The purpose of early education is to induce in to the students an interest of education but children are taught by untrained teachers in their early stage, so they lose interest in education. The high expectation of families and absence of guidance affects the ability of the students.

Solution:Students should get basic knowledge about any profession before deciding to take it as their future profession. For this purpose they should consult the persons which are already attached with that profession are great source of information. So you can consult a person which is related to the profession which you want to join in future.Examination systemStudents are evaluated in our institutions not on the basis of their abilities but on the basis of their class. This disheartens students who have weak financial/social backgrounds. Also our examination system evaluates students not on the basis of their cognitive abilities but is more of a rote memory test. All this is simply due to the fact that modern evaluation techniques are not applied.

Solution:The Examination system should be based on research work with the effort to explore world not on the ability of cramming.TransportationTraffic is a very common problem of the citizens of Pakistan. You will see traffic jams on the roads at morning and evening timings. People are packed in the buses and vans like sacks, young students climb up the roofs of the buses, vehicles horns never allow you to hear the voice of the person beside you. All of us face these traffic problems but here Ill we discuss how it create problems for students. Many educational institutes have their own buses to facilitate the students but still there are lots of students who travel through public transports. At morning, people were on their way to offices, school, colleges, etc. So, there is great rush on the roads and that time there is shortage of public transports on the roads. Due to which buses and vans are full. Mostly conductors of buses and vans dont allow students to ride on buses.Students who are getting late for their classes have to climb up buses as soon as possible and in this struggle sometimes they got injuries in many incidents. The rain and the VIP movements are also creating a big problem for the students.

Solution:Public transporters should provide more vehicles at morning and evening times so that more and more people should be accommodated at rush hour. Government never thinks about the traffic problems of students.Language BarrierOur students are also subjected to very frequent changes in the medium of instruction. In the process the best they can do is to learn to read one of the languages. Majority is unable to understand what is written in the text. They memorize the text and recopy it in examination, which kills the basic aim of education. Most of the students were studied in Urdu in colleges and universities most subjects and books are in English. They cant understand it easily. This language barrier is also caused lack of confidence among students who got education in Urdu. In colleges and universities they meet the students of English medium schools who speaks English fluently they lose their confident in class. Experts believe that students can learn very quickly in their mother tongue but in our Pakistan we are running behind English language.

Solution:Most of the developed countries have education system in their mother language like Germany, France etc. By educating in their mother language they do not only promote their language but also their students understand well. As English is an international language so it should be an optional subject not a compulsory one. Because our most students can not understand it well, they just memorize it without knowing the meaning of the text. So, the education must be in our mother language so that students can easily understand it & not only to memorize it & recopy in examination but gain some knowledge & concept.Imposed study programsOne of the big problems faced by students is, usually they are not free to choose study program of their own choice. Parents imposed a field of study which is not suitable for the child or he couldnt feel good to study in that field. This is very common problem of our society. Student wants to be journalist or photographer but parents select engineering for him. So when he gets admission in engineering college he could not perform better. He feels that he is not fit for this field.

Solution:Here parents should think about it and please dont impose any study sequence to their children. You should make aware students about the scopes and problems of every field where they have interest and let them choose a study program. Aamir Khan, famous Indian actor produced a film 3 Idiots on this topic that students can perform better in that field which they select themselves.Difference in Theory & practical worldIn our colleges and universities students got bookish and theoretical knowledge but to get job they need practical knowledge and skills. In fact, students required theoretical knowledge for their professional growth and development but in job market they need something more. Now there is too much competition in the market and owners only hire that person which has some kind of experience regarding the required job.

Solution:This problem can be solved very easily by students themselves. Students can join a company or organization during their studies for the experience. This will gives you much experience and also professional knowledge which would boost your personality.Load shedding affecting students in PakistanThe hours-long unscheduled load-shedding in Pakistan increased the miseries of students. The power supply companyhas resorted to over 8 to 12 hours of outages, which is adding to the miseries of the residents already haunted by the rising inflation and worsening law and order situation.Because of electricity shortage, the valuable time of students is going to be wasted. Students are facing severe study problems. Their daily routine timetable is disturbed which will affect their future also. Not only, had the matriculation students affected from the electricity shortage butalso the university level students are also affected by the electricity load shedding. The Problem of load shedding is further intensifying by the gas load shedding in the Pakistan. Students will face the life threatening hot in the examination halls during the summer examination.

Solution:So, it must be making possible to facilitate students during the examination and preparation days by overcoming the electricity shortage.Teachers insincerityThis is very common problem and nearly all the students talked about it. In our society teaching is not considered a good profession and people, who are in this profession not sincere with it. In colleges and universities mostly teachers doesnt come in time and mostly classes are off due to the unavailability of teachers.

Solution:The only solution of this problem is that the teachers must be sincere to their profession and should pay his best to the students.Lack of Trained teachers:There are no trained teachers in our education system. The purpose of early/primary education is to induce in to the students an interest of education but children are exposed to untrained teachers in their early stage of education they lose interest in education and results in early drop outs.I must say that first we should try to make our educational system better so that the education which a student gets gives some fruitful results. Government should make good policies for it and implement them in the institutions.

Solution:There should be training institutions, workshops or programmes for the teachers to update their knowledge according to the needs of the present era.Teacher-Student relationship:A careful analysis of the teacher-student relationship at any level, inside or outside the school, reveals it fundamentally narrative character. This relationship involves a narrative subject (the teacher) & listening objects (the students).Education is suffering from narration sickness. The teacher talks about reality as if it were motionless, static, compartmentalized & predictable who else he expounds on a topic completely alien to the existential experience of the students. His task is to fill the students with the contents of his narration. Content which are detach from reality disconnected from the totality that engendered them & could give the significance & words are emptied of their concreteness & become a hollow, alienated verbosity.

Communication GapThere exists a lot of communication gap between students and teachers. Due to this gap neither the teachers nor the parents come to understand the students, resultantly they enforce upon them their wishes. This enforcement develops a rebellious or a docile nature in the students, which retard the positive abilities.

Solution:The environment of the class must be such that a student asks anything to the teacher without the fear of insult or criticism.Unhealthy environmentStudents usually have to study in unhealthy and un-friendly environment. As sometime the fellows and teachers are very un-friendly and behave rudely. Students cant study at home due to certain reasons as load shedding or have to do some domestic households etc. Some students who are from other cities face lots of problems of food and residence.

Solution:Its the resposibility of the teacher to create a healthy & friendly environment so that students can ask any question from the teacher. A healty & friendly environment not only develop interest in the studies but also give confidence to the students.Co-EducationIn Pakistan, female students face many problems as usually their family doesnt allow them to study in co-education. Most of the girls dont feel comfortable with co-education. It is one of the big problems faced by female students.

Solution:Its the responsibility of the Government to establish separate institutes for female students so that they can continue their education in a comfortable environment in spite of wasting their capabilities at home. In this way females can play a major role in the development of the country.Lack of Proper laboratory facilitiesOur institutes are devoid of proper laboratories. Due to this, students are bombarded with theoretical concepts, which in the absence of the required laboratories confuse the students. As a result of this the students lose their interest in education after which either they drop out or rely on practices like cheating, bribing teachers etc.

Solution:There should be properly maintained laboratories in the institutions so that students carry out their practical work it will also help in better understanding of the theory.Lack of learning aidsOur institutes lack leaning aids like audio or visual aids. The only way to learn is the teachers lecture which is so boring & dry that it is much difficult for the student to listen the teacher as a result student loose their interest in studies.

Solution:There should be audio or visuals aids, use of different models which will increase the interest of students in their studies & leads to better understanding of things. Students will memorize it for a long time and they will enjoy their studies.Fear complexTo camouflage their inability teachers grow a fence of fear around themselves. They resort to indiscriminate punishments resultantly some of the students run away from schools and the rest become docile with no interest in education but to spend time aimlessly.

Psychological ProblemsStudents due to high expectations of their families and absence of guidance for both the parents and students experience a lot of psychological stress, which has a retarding effect on their studies.

Frequent change of teachersFrequent change of teachers leaves no room for the development of mutual understanding and respect for each other. The moment they start to understand each other, the teacher is changed. Once this process is repeated a few times with a student, the student closes himself to teachers in future.Inferiority complexStudents competes each other crazily in fashion which creates inferiority complex in students that belongs to poor families which ultimately leads to their poor performance in the studies as well as decrease in their confidence level. This inferiority complex has very bad impact on the personality of the poor students.

Solution:There must be a uniform for all institutes including colleges and universities, so that the students that belong to poor families can also continue their education with out the inferiority complex.Absence of appropriate textbooksStudents are subjected to inappropriate textbooks, which in the absence of appropriate reference books makes the situation worst. Libraries are filled with irrelevant books, which too are kept under lock & key out of the reach of students.

Solution:Libraries must be equipped with such books which are relevant to needs of students. So that students get benefit from them.StressStudents are physically stressed due to the fact that they start early in the morning and walk long distances to school, on reaching schools they are subjected to physical punishments and when they return they are given substantial amount of homework for which they have no guidance. In addition they have to go for coaching classes. They also have to read Quran Pak ultimately they do not have time for playing.

Solution:The timing of the school should not be too early. There should not be home work so that students get time for other recreational activities this will ultimately leads to healthy mind & healthy body.LonelinessDue to mental stress and too much work students have no time to develop social relations and the feeling of loneliness overtakes them. This leads to depression and mental sickness, which is taken by society as being under the influence of spirits. To cure this they are taken to different shrines which majority of times results into partial mental disability.

Lack of facilities for Co-circular activitiesThere exist no facilities for co-curricular activities of the students. Very few institutes have playing grounds, which is due to wrong planning of the management. Sometimes the institutes are very overcrowded providing no space for any kind of sports. Also there are no provisions for sport goods due to which students run aimlessly which inculcates in them an aimless attitude/behavior.

Lack of Parking areaThere exists no parking area in majority of private institutes due to which students have to park their vehicles at road which leads to traffic jams and creates a lot of tension for students.

Solution:While planning a building of an institute there must be a proper space for parking of vehicles of students so that students do not face any kind of problem.Drug addictionDue to non-serious attitude of the teachers and management students at a very early age get exposed to menaces like smoking and use of snuff, which according to psychologists are a gateway to more serious additions such as hash and heroin. It has also been observed that it is in fact the teachers and parents of the students who use these things openly in front of students and hence work as a role models for students on their way to getting into the habit of smoking and use of snuff.

Friends / RoommatesFriends and roommates are usually good for a good time. However, they can get on each others nerves at times. Because these students are living together in close quarters and seeing each other each day, this is just not a good thing.

Solution:Students must remember to take some time out for themselves. If possible, students should get away from campus for a little while and go to a coffee shop or a mall and just take some time to gather their thoughts and be themselves. If conflicts do arise, it is best to get others such as other friends involved so that the spirit of community, unity, and peace at the college can continue to be upheld.

Difference between matric and O-level system. Here we will discuss the difference betwen O-level and matirc in Pakistan.Pakistan is the country where different typesof education systems are being arranged and followed. This is considered to be the major and important reason for the failure and depressing educational system in Pakistan. The two common and popular education systems in Pakistan is matric and O-level. These days student face many problems that which type of education system they want to select. The main difference are as follows:The first difference between matric and O-level is that Matric is considered to be national education sysytem in Pakistan. On the other hand O-level is the education system which is completely based on the British education system. The most important and main difference is that matric education is considered to be more cheaper and easy as compared to O-level education. O-level is more expensive and difficult. Because of this reason many Pakistani students who belong to middle class would not be able to afford O-level education system. The martic and O-level education system is that the quality of O-level system is more superior as compared to matric education system. The reason is that O-level education system is adopted from style of british education system. Another differnce is Matric system is the only system which is recognise in the whole Pakistan on the other hand O-level education system is recognised in the whole world. The last and main difference is in matric education system, Urdu language is used. On the other hand English language is used in O-level education system. In simple words education system is considered to the popular education system in the whole world and it promotes the english language.Educated VS Uneducated people OR Advantages of education: We all appreciate that education is extremely important and crucial to our lives but it is also clear that not everyone can receive the level of education they have a right to. This leads us to divide people into two groups, educated and uneducated people. Both of these types of people have their advantages and disadvantages which can be evaluated in terms of economic power, social status and mentality. When we talk about educated and uneducated people, the first thing that comes up for discussion is level of income. There is no doubt that educated people are presented with a lot more opportunities than uneducated people. Their certificatesof achievements are what count most of the time and as they have more opportunities to have a good job, they have a better income and consume better food which leads to a longer life.On the other hand, uneducated people who have not completed their minimal educational qualifications do not have much chance of having a good, well-paid job unless they are very lucky. For this reason they have to work in simple jobs or perform very hard labour work in construction or fields increasing the risk of illness and poor health. Unlike educated people who earn more over a lifetime which means a higher quality of life, uneducated people do not have enough income to make ends meet for their families pushing them deeper into poverty.Level of income leads us onto social status. Educated people with a high level of income seem to be a respectable figure for other people whereas uneducated people are viewed in a different light. Uneducated people do not choose to be in that condition of poverty but due to not achieving any level of education which is a basic human right they have not had the same chances in life. Another reason why educated people have a superior status in the eyes of society is because of the way they act and communicate in life but it would not be false to say that sometimes uneducated people beat the educated in terms of being social or respectable.Mentality of both groups can be delved into further where it is generally assumed that educated people are open-minded and uneducated people are closed minded. When a person has gained high quality education they most certainly have an advantage of greater knowledge about the world and other people. Uneducated people tend to follow the same paths and practices of their parents and what they experienced in their life and going forward the same mentality is passed onto their children who do not realise the importance of education through no fault of their own.

Types of education sector in Pakistan:Private Education Sector: Private sector involvement in education is encouraging. The Federal Bureau of Statistics survey (1999-2000) indicates that there are 36,096 private educational institutions in Pakistan. About 61 percent of the institutions are in urban areas and 39 percent in rural areas. The percentage share of private sector in enrollment is 18 percent at primary school level, 16 percent at middle school level and 14 percent at high school level.

It has been observed that most of the private schools select their own curricula and textbooks, which are not in conformity with public schools. Majority of the schools are English Medium which attracts the parents for sending their children to these schools. Most of the schools are overcrowded and do not have adequate physical facilities. These schools are usually charging high fees from the students. Most of the schools are unregistered; therefore, in most cases the certificates issued by these institutions are not recognized by public schools. Majority of these institutions are functioning in the rented buildings.

The National Education Policy 1998-2010 proposed that there shall be regulatory bodies at the national and provincial levels to regulate activities and smooth functioning of privately managed schools and institutions of higher education through proper rules and regulations. A reasonable tax rebate shall be granted on the expenditure incurred on the setting up of educational facilities by the private sector. Grants-in-Aid for specific purposes shall be provided to private institutions. Setting up of private technical institutions shall be encouraged. Matching grants shall be provided for establishing educational institutions by the private sector in the rural areas or poor urban areas through Education Foundation. In rural areas, schools shall be established through public-private partnership schemes. The government shall not only provide free land to build the school but also bear a reasonable proportion of the cost of construction and management. Liberal loan facilities shall be extended to private educational institutions by financial institutions.

Despite all shortcomings of private education mentioned above, PIHS survey indicates that enrolment rates in public schools have declined since 1995-96 particularly a large decline has been observed in rural areas. It is generally perceived by parents that quality of education in private schools are better than the public schools, therefore, those parents who can afford prefer to send their children to private schools. These trends indicate that the public education system is unable to meet public demand for providing quality education in the country.Public Education Sector:Private schools have become a necessity for contemporary Pakistani society since the government has failed to provide quality education for its population. A majority of parents, even those from lower income brackets, send their children to private schools so they can receive an education that will enable them to be competitive. Also, most Pakistanis want their children to learn English. Private schools offer all instruction in English while government schools offer instruction in either Urdu or the local provincial language. The condition of government schools all over the country and the quality of education being imparted there are going from bad to worse, day by day. Thousands of government schools are "spirit schools," existing on paper only. The buildings, mostly in rural areas, that were meant to house these schools are either dilapidated due to negligence or have been converted into oats (drawing rooms) for the local waders (land owners).Thousands of "ghost" teachers have been drawing salaries from the education departments of the four provinces. They do not do any actual teaching since there are no functioning schools. They simply show up to collect their salaries on the appointed day.
