How is it installed?The reader is mounted outside of your door. It can be connected to your network via ethernet or wifi. It is powered by either POE or regular low voltage power.
Will it work with my existing system?Yes, if you currently have a wired Kisi Reader. If not, you will need to have a wire run to your door (if none available at door). Reader is backwards compatible with all existing Kisi Controllers.
When is the Reader available?Pre-order is available now at getkisi.com/shop/pro-reader. Orders will ship in February 2017.
Does the reader need to connect to my Kisi Controller?No, it does not. You have the option of connecting directly to your Kisi Controller or simply connecting your Reader to your network (wifi or ethernet).
How do I get additional Kisi Passes?You can always order additional key cards in the Kisi Shop. Find them at http://getkisi.com/shop.
What if a user loses a Kisi Pass?You can deactivate the keycard associated with that user’s account from your Kisi Admin Dashboard. The Dashboard is accessible from any internet enabled device, which allows you to de-authenticate the card quickly and easily, from anywhere.
