What is Krav Maga?

Krav Maga is essentially a noncompetitive eclectic self-defense system founded by Imi Lichtenfeldand gradually developed by him over the years. Rooted in anti-Semitic Slovakia in the mid-30’s, throughout the 40’s -before and after the state of Israel was formed - and for the duration of about 20 years of IDF service, Imi refined his unique method for self-defense and hand-to-hand combat.

Introducing IKM Krav Maga

IKM, International Krav Maga, is an Israeli-based organization founded by Gabi Noah (Master II) in 2009. The IKM is active in more than 20 countries worldwide and rapidly growing. IKM’s Team has vast experience in teaching Krav Maga to different sectors as civilians, law enforcement agencies, intervention teams, anti-terrorist units, air marshals and VIP security personnel. The IKM specializes in training defensive tactics, hand-to-hand combat techniques, self defense and fighting skills. The IKM provides ongoing and in-service programs for the above verticals and qualification, or the continuation of training, of their in-house instructors. IKM NY’s branch has founded by Expert I – Tsahi Shemesh in 2010
