Located in south Hangzhou bay,Shaoxing is an

ancient city that possesses beautiful scenery.

The climate in Shaoxing is pretty good. It hasfour distinct seasons and sunshine is rish. The temperature in my hometown is moist, especially in summer. As a consequence, compared to Beijing, it’s cool in Shaoxing during our summer holiday.

Shaoxing is known for its centuries-old history, abundant humanistic flatus and magnificent historical interest.

Shaoxing is the hometown of many politicians, philosophers, authors, and scientists in Chinese history. Like Wangxizhi, Luyou, Zhukezhen and so on.

Lu Xun, the most well-known writer in Chinese history, also hails from Shaoxing. He had written many electrifying articles. People praise him as the soul of our nation.

The city’s network of rivers and bridges give Shaoxing another name - the Oriental Venice. Experience this one-of-a-kind Chinese town by taking a boat trip along the winding canals and rivers will make you Indulge in pleasures without stop.

A bite of shaoxing

Shaoxing is also a city of wines and the most famous of them is Nv Er Hong.

According to legend, when a daughter was born in a family, her parents would make a bottle of wine and bury it underground. When the daughter is married, her parents will dig it out to celebrate her marriage.
