CourseDescriptionThisintroductorymusichistorycourseisasurveyofthehistoryofWesternmusicfrom476A.D.(thedeclineoftheRomanEmpire)untilpresent.EmphasiswillbeplacedonspeciBicworksofmusicthatembodyselectedimportantmusicalstyles,andessentialsocial,political,economicandculturalinBluencesonthatmusic.
