IT'S NOT EASY IT'S NOT EASY BEING GREENBEING GREEN

“It’s not easy being green”

A long time ago, Kermit the

Frog had a minor hit with that

song. Today we find ourselves

working for a plastic company

and it’s not too easy being

green here either on some

days.

Plastic bag bans are all the

rage these days and I’m not

here to debate the good or

bad, but what ban is next?

The IAPD has risen to the

challenge our industry has

before us, plastics have

tremendous applications and

uses but overall bad PR in the

politically correct world. Not

only the product life cycle and

end of life disposal issues but

right here in our day to day

production and processing

within Interstate Plastics, we

create some trash.
