Delivery

• Four hours per week per module • Support with reading, self study, assessment preparation, tutorials etc.• Lectures, workshops, tutorials• Assessments vary• Guest speakers• Field trips

Your three (or four) years with us?

• Three years with optional placement between years 2 and 3.• Year 1 - Operational. A leveling year, allows the cohort to balance! Still

lots to do….• Year 2 - Management based.• Optional placement year• Year 3 - Strategy and research based.

Some examples: Year 1 International Travel Dynamics

• Mix of taught sessions, workshops based on pre-reading and personal research.

• Aim: To discuss the history of travel and to identify major influences upon the development of travel and how they relate to the present day.

• Two pieces of assessment. Group Exhibition and a 2,000 word essay.

• Guest speakers.

• Field trip to the World Travel Market.

• All students on International Travel Management BA(Hons) will be entitled to enhance their award with certification from the ITM by following a specific route-way after Level 5 of their studies.
