storage of the club tables
- some 16 in total. Both
Blair and myself are mov-
ing house in coming
months With these chang-
es I will loose my under
house storage space and
Blair will also have similar
changes. Question for the
club - what to do with
these tables?

to provide storage of
these (10 trestle length
tables and 6 longer tables
or part there off as they
say) please let me know

A tribute to a former life - memorial in the “new” Wigram housing estate.
Of the 18th Tactical Fighter Wing (‘The Shoguns’) ,
based at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa. This aircraft
was assigned to the the unit’s Commanding Officer,
Colonel F. Beatty. Circa 1987 - 1888
Aircraft from this unit were
among the last USAF aircraft to participate in joint exercises with the
RNZAF, visiting New Zealand for Exercise Triad ‘84. New Zealand’s
‘Nuclear Free’ policy resulted in the US Government suspending direct mili-
tary co-operation with New Zealand’s Armed Forces.

To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Oregon Air National
Guard, the 173rd Fighter Wing, based at Kingsley Field in Kla-
math Falls, Oregon, has given one of its F-15 Eagles a spectac-
ular colour scheme.
Fishbone have been first to produce decals (1/72) of this air-
craft.

IPMS Southland will be staging its biennial public display on the last weekend of the July school
holidays. Included in the weekends events will be the 2016 South Island Competition. Remembering
the great support Southland have provided to our displays I urge members to consider supporting this
event. I have plans to attend and will be able to take models down for anyone unable to attend . Keep-
ing in mind I may be required to change my plans at the last minute.
