FIH Licensed Manufacturers / Suppliers of Synthetic Turf

and their Approved Products

This is a list of synthetic turf manufacturers / suppliers who are licensed by the FIH. The products listed have been

tested by FIH accredited laboratories and meet the specified requirements.

Requirements and Test Procedures for Synthetic Hockey Pitches - Outdoor. In accordance with those requirements,

the main two categories of turf were called "global" and "standard". In addition, there was a "starter" category,

but that has now been withdrawn.

From April 2008 the requirements were included in the April 2008 edition of the Handbook of Performance

Requirements for Synthetic Turf Hockey Pitches, also known as The Pitch Handbook. In that publication the "standard"

category was renamed "national", so that the main two categories of turf are now known as "global" and "national".

An additional "multisport" category has been added in accordance with the new Pitch Handbook introduced

in May 2013.
