We all met at the Royal Festival Hall

7.30am

Each group had a country

name. Ours was Ghana.

When I was their age, I was no way as cool as these girls. I wore pop socks.

Their teacher came to make sure we mentors didn’t turn out to be vampires.

Afterwards, there were presentationsand singing for the girls downstairs.

While upstairs, the mentors drank too much coffee and listened to a talk.
