ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGG. The Civil Engineering Department offers UG and PG Programs in Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Environmental Engineering and Highway Engineering. The Department has experienced faculty who are involved in research in the areas of Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Water Resources Management. It is reputed for conducting research projects in association with government agencies. The Department has several ongoing projects and also completed research projects in association with government agencies like DAE, AICTE, DST, BRNS and TNSC.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF EEE The EEE department offers UG Program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and PG Programs in Power System Engineering and Power Electronics & Devices. The Department boasts of good placement records. The Department has experienced faculty. World class research

facilities are provided in the department to facilitate the research scholars in the field of renewable energy & smart grid with the assistance of Government Agencies.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE International Conference on Sustainable Environment and Energy (ICSEE 2017) is supported by scopus journals on environmental pollution, structural and construction management, sustainable energy etc., for the scientist, scholars, engineers and students for all over the world. Off late construction techniques which support sustainable environment have become a subject of interest. Therefore development of sustainable approach in the construction industry through innovative solutions which can minimize the impact on environment is one of the key focus of this conference. Dwindling of natural resources is a global concern; hence the need for alternate energy is the prime focus. Hence there is a need for harnessing clean energy resources and this is a major research area in recent years. Since India is located in the tropical belt the nation has a natural advantage to use the solar energy resource. The solar energy can be easily converted into electricity and the prospects of potential usage of alternative source of energy such as hydrogen fuel is possible. The objective of the conference is to promote sustainability through Waste Management, Hydrogen Recovery and Storage, use of Sustainable Materials in Construction to encourage the harnessing of renewable energy resources and Generation of Renewable Energy. The conference provides a platform for the participants from across the globe to pitch in their innovative ideas related to sustainable environment and energy. Paper presentation, exchange of ideas by international experts in the specialized areas will enhance the perspectives of the sustainable environment and energy resources. This would be extremely beneficial to the entire gamut of participants of the ICSEE 2017 Conference.
