AVS Engineering College was established in the Academic year 2008-2009 to march the Professionals of standard Institutions to bring forth the excellence of Technical Education necessary to transform an aspiring Student into a quality Engineer with power and zeal to face the ever challenging future. It is promoted by Om Sri Vivekananda Educational Trust and it is the 8th College in its group of Institutions. The College is situated well within the corporation area at Salem in a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The Institute offers 6 UG Courses, 5 PG Courses and MBA. The Institute has Hi-Tech Wi-Fi Campus, Excellent Infrastructure, Well equipped Laboratories and centralized Library with highly qualifi ed and well experienced Faculty Members.

The First International Conference on Trends in Technology for Convergence (TITCON’14) aims to provide the most relevant opportunity to bring together students, researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry to present their research results and develop-ment activities in the fi elds of Engineering, Science and Management studies. This international conference will provide a forum for present-ing and discussing about the new design, ideas, alternative technologies and fi ndings in said fi elds. The technical program of the conference will include tutorials, regular technical sessions, workshops, special ses-sions, demos and plenary/keynote speeches.

Authors are invited to submit the full paper of about 3000 words to the convener/organizing secretary of the conference through email as per IEEE format. Authors are request-ed to use MS-Word, 12 point Times New Roman font with single line spacing. The affi liation, mailing address, phone, fax numbers and email address of the author(s) must be included and the corresonding author should be identifi ed. The paper will be re-viewed by the technical committee before their acceptance. Au-thors of the accepted papers will be requested to register for the conference. The guidelines will also be posted on the conference website. All Accepted Papers will be included in IEEEXplore and Peer Reviewed International Journals. In addition, all the accepted papers will be reviewed for possible inclusion within the INSPEC, EI, DBLP, Microsoft Academic Research, Research Gate, and Google Scholar Databases.

Best extended version of selected paper after presenta-tion in the conference will be considered for possible publication in the following International Journals as a special issue.
