WHAT IS A HARDWARE?

A hard ware is what you can touch or see in the computer.

WHAT IS AN INTERNAL HARDWARE?

An internal hardware is the hardware inside the computer. E.g.

C.P.U R.A.M R.OM Graphic card Mother board Sound card Network interface. Internal fan

CPU

What is CPU? What does it do? CPU is like a brain of a computer which carries out the software instruction. The CPU speed is measured in Hertz(the more the Hertz the faster the

computer will be)

RAM

What is RAM? RAM stand for Random Access Memory RAM is where the computer instruction but when the computer turn off the

information will be lost. This save thing that you right now.

ROM

What is ROM? ROM stand for Read-Only Memory ROM is a permanent storage which will not be lost when we turn off the

computer. This will work after you press “save as” that data will stay forever.

GRAPHIC CARD

What is a Graphic card? The graphic car is use to control the image and computer graphic in

games. The better graphic card the better the graphic be. A graphics processing unit are designed to help process and display

images, especially 3D graphics.

MOTHERBOARD

What is a motherboard? Is the base of all of the control which you can attach the electric thing in

such as ROM. It is a central circuit board.

SOUND CARD

What is a sound card? The sound card provide the input and output of a sound such as

microphone and speaker. The sound card was attached on the motherboard. Their three main function to generate sounds ,record sound from a

microphone and reproduce sound for a speaker.

NETWORK INTERFERENCE CARD(NIC)

What is network interference card? It is a card the make our computer able to connect to the internet/network. The modern computer, the NIC were place in the motherboard. However, in

some computer we need to add the expansion card to place the NIC in.

Internal fan

What is an Internal fan?• This fan is use to cool down the heat of the computer so the computer will not

be too hot.• The sound that you heard from the CPU is the sound of the fan spinning.

WHAT IS THE THREE MAIN PART OF THE CPU?

The Control Unit It control the input and output of the computer and make sure everything works

properly. It let the signal that been sent goes to the right place in the right time. Control all data in the CPUThe Immediate Access Store The program will keep backing up the information. The CPU need to have this because the hard was very slow to run the

application which mean using the immediate access is faster.Arithmetic and Logic Unit This is use to calculate mathematic. Arithmetic is use to calculate simple calculation. For example, 1+5=6 Logic unit is use to calculate the logical math problem.
