ON-DOCK SERVICEJAXPORT’s Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) at Dames Point, operated by Ceres Rail Services, serves JAXPORT’s North Jacksonville terminals: TraPac Container Terminal at Dames Point and Blount Island Marine Terminal.

REDUCED DRAYAGE DISTANCEThe ICTF allows cargo to move quickly between rail and the adjacent seaport terminal docks, slashing drayage from 20 miles to three miles or less.

STREAMLINED SHIPPINGThe direct transfer of containers between vessels and trains speeds up the shipment process. Connects to CSX Transportation’s main line allowing for one inbound and one outbound unit train each day. Two truck lanes enable efficient transport to/from adjacent terminals.

ENHANCED INTERMODAL CONNECTIONSThe facility provides existing and future customers with enhanced intermodal connections, including access to CSX rail lines and major highways including I-95, I-10, and I-75.
