Dear Valued Members of the AGT Family and My Dear Friends;

While closing a year full of problems in both political and economic terms I am pleased to be together with you again.

Yes; we are leaving behind a difficult year. A year in which there were 2 general elections, up to 30% devaluation, an increase in terrorism in the East and Southeast Anatolia and intense conflict in our neighboring countries.

The latest aircraft crisis with Russia faced us at the close of the year as a whole new challenge.

All of these developments naturally became factors that impacted the habits and morale of consumers and commercial life.

While the Turkish economy received its share of these developments the GSMH growth remained under expectations.

This impacted unemployment and investments and remains before us as a factor.

On the other hand, the economic impact of living with nearly 3 million Syrian refugees was another economical aspect.

But we have many reasons not to be pessimistic despite all these considerations.

Our country having a young population compared to the aging population of Europe and the opportunity to make new sales in many sector products are some of our greatest advantages.

The achieved stability and the fact that no new elections will occur in the next four years will enable us to focus on economic goals.

Despite all of the adversities mentioned I would like to point out that we have left behind a successful year for AGT.

With the new flooring dealers that have joined us, with the commissioning of a new Flooring line we have achieved great synergy.

Our products are well liked by our dealers and our consumers.

AGT, which had already created a distinction in its known product categories, has now taken steps towards establishing a brand in flooring.

Our 40% export within our total revenue was another aspect that distinguished us in the sector despite all adversities in surrounding countries.

The Turquality Brand Support Program, which we joined this year, became another achievement for AGT.

While all of these developments had a positive impact on our view and belief in the future, they also increased our motivation.

The new moves AGT will make in 2016 and the future with ensure the continuation of AGT’s success and reinforce its strength.

It is with these feelings that I sincerely wish you and your loved ones a healthy and joyful 2016.

At our stand in INTERMOB 2015, where the biggest international companies of the Furniture, Wood and Forestry Products sector convene, we presented our new AGT Flooring product as well as our Power Gloss product with UV lacquer coated superior durability and high gloss to end users. We also presented the new season colors of our panels to national and international dealers. Our stand stood out with recreated daily scenes like a bakery, boutique, barbershop, book store and children’s world decorated with the company’s products.

After the fair our Sales and Marketing Group Chairman Şirzat Subaşı said: “We received great attention from both national and international visitors at our stand. We created special stands representative of daily life. Thus we were able to show how much our products play into our lives. We are providing innovative products not just to the Turkish market but to a wide export market network spanning over 60 countries. We plan to increase this number even more over the coming years”.

We enjoyed convening at dinner with our dealers from Russia and the Iran-Azerbaijan region, whom we invited to Istanbul for INTERMOB 2015, the largest wood sector fair in Eurasia. During the dinners we heard the views of our dealers concerning the fair and our products in general and witness some enjoyable social exchanges.

Former Minister of ForeignAffairs and AntalyaParliamentarian Mr. MevlütÇavuşoğlu visited our facilitieson October 8, 2015. Mr.Çavuşoğlu, who addressed ouremployees during his visit, hadlunch at our facility. Aftertouring our MDF facility heexpressed his good impressionsof the facility and wished uscontinued success.

Our distributor Samin Sanat and sub-distributors from Iran, one of the countries that AGT products are exported to the most, visited our facilities. Our Board Member Mustafa Söylemez presented an award for “Our Fastest Growing Export Distributor” to Asghar Germayeh, who made a speech on behalf of Samin Sanat expressing his gratitude.

We participated in the 12th conference of parties to the United Nations Fight AgainstDesertification.We participated in the United Nations Fight Against Desertification Conference and International COP Exhibit organized by the Forestry National Directorate at the Ankara Armada Center on October 12. Visitors got knowledge about our products and they are so interested in our stand indeed.

Earning awards in 4 different categories with the activities it achieved in the past year, AGT was among companies that won a number of awards.

In the scope of our Work Health and Safety rewarding system the rate of accidents thatoccurred in the 3rd quarter in our production departments was disclosed in October. Aceremony was organized to celebrate with administrators and employees of our MDFAdhesive Production Department, the section of our production departments in which theleast accidents occurred in the third quarter of the year. We congratulate all employees in our MDF Adhesive Production Department and extend our sincere wishes for accidentfree work to all our other departments.

Our stand at event thattook place at the Haliç Conference Center on November 21, was greeted with greatinterest by young people.

Many companies from Turkey displayed their products at the International Furniture,Fittings and Upholstery Fair (MEBEL) organized in Russia. Organized for the 27th time atthe Expocentre Fairgrounds in Moscow, MEBEL was participated in by 510 companiesfrom Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States and well as 134 importantfurniture producers from many different countries.

AGT was also a participant in the fair with our latest products and our newesttechnology. We succeeded in becoming the focal point of many local and foreign visitorswith our stand and products in the scope of trendsetting innovations.

Our Sales and Marketing Group Chairman Şirzat Subaşı pointed out the importance ofexport in companies becoming international players. Emphasizing that Russia and theformer Soviet Union countries are an important market in terms of the sector, Subaşısaid ”Being at this event makes us happy and feel more hopeful about the future. I feelthat countries in Europe, America and the Russian Federation are importantopportunities to develop for us. Turkish companies have a good image.”

The Leadership and Success Summit took place at the Mediterranean University Atatürk Conference Hall with the participation of many speakers who are experts in their field. During the event, to which our Board Member Mehmet Semih Söylemez was invited as a guest speaker, Söylemez provided some very important suggestions to students about the life that awaits them. After the discussion, whichcontinued with a question and answer session, the Emotional Capital signature ceremony took place. Participation in the discussion and the interest of students was high.

The “Real Freedom” discussion, which gets its name from the book that was written toincrease personal awareness in young people and help them clarify their future goals, continues to travel throughout Turkey with Doğan Cüceoğlu. DC with Young People Real Freedom, which started out with the concept of “8 Cities, 8 Universities, 8 Discussions” under the sponsorship of AGT in 2012, has almost covered all of Turkey by now. The Düzce University, Adnan Menderes University, MersinUniversity and Dokuz Eylül University and just some of the stops…The discussions directed by Board Member Mehmet Semih Söylemez, Polat Doğru and Doğan Cüceoğlu, continue in an exciting atmosphere in which the three conveytheir experiences on childhood, youth, student years and life in a fluid language. After the discussion the three convene with participants again for a book signing and conclude the Real Freedom experience with photographs to immortalize the memory.

You can follow DC with Young People, for which the newest discussion will be held at the Black Sea Technical University on December 16, 2015 over the Facebook and Twitter accounts. Young people are also very pleased with this event that helps them get acquainted with AGT and for AGT to gain their interest. Let’s not forget that the future of AGT has been entrusted to us and to future generations.

What does freedom mean to a young university student? Isn’t it enough to have a warm bed, a desk, food to eat and having the money to meet your needs without having to rely on anyone? Is freedom more about what you possess or abouthow you exist? These questions are important to a young person who takes himself/herself seriously. “I wanted to rewrite the book Think Good Makethe Right Decisions, which was published by Remzi Kitabevi in 2001 because I noticed that my changing and transforming thoughts back then had fallen behind from my assessments and development. I thought two weeks would be enough for me to renew the book so I rolled up my sleeves and got busy. The book I had thought of finishing in two weeks took on a newidentity with the name “Real Freedom” andtook me over sixteen months to complete” said Doğan Cüceoğlu…

Could we get some general information about Ernst & Young?

Ernst & Young (EY) is one of the most professional service companies operating on a global scale with a nearly 30 billion $ revenue and 212,000 employees in 760 offices located in 150 different countries.

What is the objective of the Turquality project? What is the process for the company and the brand?

Turquality is the first and only government sponsored brandization program created for companies with the potential to grow with their own brand in foreign markets. In this respect the main objective of the program is to support brandization by increasing the recognition and image of Turkish brands in the global arena and to increase the export of added value products.

Companies that wish to participate in the Turquality program go through a comprehensive preparation stage and apply to the Ministry of Economy. Companies that fulfill certain prerequisites then earn the right to proceed to the preliminary exam stage. The preliminary examination is done by authorized consultants for the Ministry of Economy to gauge the maturity of companies in many different fields (like Strategic Planning, Brand Management, Supplier Chain). Companies may or may not be accepted to the program depending on the results of the preliminary exam. There are two categories for the companies that are accepted into the program; Turquality and Brand programs. The Turquality program is a category with a wider scope in terms of the period, amount and items that are supported compared to the Brand Program.

What kinds of advantages does the Turquality program have in general for brands and companies? How aware are the companies in Turkey about this perception?

The support provided to companies by the Turquality program can be listed under the following headings;

• Brand Copyright and Relevant Support• Compliance with Regulations and other Certification Support• Personnel Support• Promotional Support• Foreign Country Rent and Other Support• Consultation Support• Market Research Support

As you can see the Turquality program is not just a support program for expenditures abroad. It is a program that can provide important support in terms of corporatizing and more efficient and productive management of operations.

I can tell you from our experience in the many projects we have conducted with different sized companies in different sectors that companies, which approach the program with this perspective, achieve much more benefit from this program.

Which sectors apply to you and Turquality more?

We see companies that operate in the consumer products sector the most in the Turquality program. This sector includes the ready garment and apparel industry, electronics, food and beverage, personal and home care and durable goods products. Also there are an important number of brands belonging to companies in the pharmaceutical, chemical, automotive and industrial product sectors.

How intense is the demand in the Wood Industry and Furniture Decoration sector?

There are important companies representing the Wood Industry and Furniture Decoration sector in the Turquality program. Kastamonu Entegre, İstikbal, Bellona, Doğtaş, Gentaş, Bürotime, Koleksiyon and of course the new program participant AGT are some of these brands. While there are a number of companies among these that we have had the chance to work with before in Turquality, there are also some companies that we have ongoing work with. Even though the approach of companies to the program varies according to their size and needs, I can say that they all have a mature perspective about benefitting from the program in general

AGT is one of the companies that has become involved in this process recently… How would you evaluate the benefit of this program for AGT and our process of adapting to the Turquality Program?

As EY our point of view on the Turquality program is actually just to create “Added Value”. Starting with our first contact with companies we try to proceed throughout the project and even after the project is completed with this perspective.

In our agreement with AGT we have taken important steps together and continue forward. Determining a target market, analyzing the market and creating an action plan, clarifying company goals and strategies and planning out a strategic road map towards the company goals will be some of the milestones in AGT’s mid to long term achievements. What I would like to emphasize here is that internalizing and decisively implementing the strategies and plans that we generate from this work is critical to its success.

The growth performance shown by AGT has impressed and excited us to a great degree. This growth has also brought about the need for the company to change and transform in many aspects. We have observed that AGT is courageously taking steps to change and transform in parallel with the corporate culture. I believe that with its vision and energy, the AGT brand will rise to great places in both the Turkish and international markets in the next few years.

The Antalya Film FestivalThe 52nd International Antalya Film Festival has started. The festival, for which the main sponsor is Turkuvaz Medya, will be hosting stars from both Turkish and the world cinema.

DIRECTING In the Turkish CultureThere is no corresponding word in western languages for “vefa”, “hatır” and “gönül” (loyalty, memory, spirit) because these concepts do not exist in the cultures that are the sources of these languages. In contrast there are no corresponding words in our culture for “vision”, “mission”, “strategy” and “plan” in our language. In our tradition there is “make it up as you go along” and “whatever needs to be done will get done eventually”.

The language psychology that reflects a culture’s was of thinking, thereasons for this type of concept forming or not forming reveals the projects on present day life. This book studies how the Turkish business world is

impacted by its own cultural values, as in language psychology and aims to show how a leader who pays attention to these values can be successful on a national and international scale. Because success in the business world is achieved not how it is incentivized andattempted to be implemented or by using import processes and gauges as they are but by adapting these to the style and texture of their own culture and then implementing them.

DOMOTEXFAIRThe Domotex Carpet and Floorings Fair, the most important fair of the sector organized every year in January in Hannover Germany, is participated by many famous carpet companies in the international market as well as Turkish companies that have achieved great success in this field.

The fair, where the latest trends and technologies in carpets, parquet and flooring will be displayed, will be held January 16-19, 2016. While leading brands from our country will have the opportunity to bring their products to foreign markets, over 220 domestic companies are also expected to participate in the fair. AGT also will attend this fair with its products.
