Analysis Report of EC1309v2

1. HW Analysisa. The RAM & Flash Size is ok for basic TV service;b. Frequency of the chipset is around 400MHz, capable for basic TV service;c. Interfaces(RCA, S-Video, Ethernet, USB) is OK for ordinary use;Conclusion: The HW of EC1309v2 is capable for basic TV services on ZTE platform.

2. Integration resultThe testing covers the basic IPTV service including such items:

1 EPG login Fail a. No “Action=Login” parameter carried, not comply with ordinary login standard;

b. Can’t set password for the service account, “Authenticator” is generated as ordinary standard, but it is invalid;

3 Live TV Pass Streaming via multicast is OK

4 Time-shifting Pass Backward and forward is OK

5 VOD Pass Streaming via unicast is OK, VOD redirection is failed

Conclusion: The current firmware of EC1309v2 is capable for basic TV services on ZTE platform. Several workflows such as EPG login and VOD redirection is failed due to the interaction between STB and platform is not well, some adjustment shall be conducted to make the integration fully successful.
