CONCLUSION
Al2O3 is not thermodynamically stable in aqueous solution Ageing of alumina leads to the formation of Al(OH)3 via dissolution-precipitation
Primary mineral neophase
Ageing Al2O3 in the presence of Pt leads to the formation of high temperature-resistant carbonate species (in relation with Al(OH)3 formation ?)
Details of the first step of preparation (ageing) have an influence on high temperature activation (TPR).
Al(OH)3 formation is is not a surface phenomenon

Couplage ATG(DSC)-SM
