    1. Pakistan was created on the 27th of Ramzan i.e. 14th August 1947.

    2. Pakistan became an Islamic republic in 1956.

    3. More than 60 languages are spoken in Pakistan. English is the official language of Pakistan and

    is used in government.

    4. Sugar cane is national drink of Pakistan.

    5. Markhor, is the Pakistans national animal.

    6. Sixth most populous nation on Earth.

    7. Pakistan has the sixth largest military force in the world.

    8. Pakistan has contributed the most troops of any nation to the UN Peacekeeping Forces.

    9. Pakistan has 7th largest collection of scientists and engineers in the world.

    10.About 1.7 million refugees from Afghanistan live in Pakistan.

    11. Faith, Unity, Discipline Emblem of Pakistan.

    12.Pakistans capital, Islamabad is one of the few planned capital cities in the world, and is often

    cited as one of the most beautiful ones.
