You will be given a prompt. Take a few minutes to write what you think about the question. Only write on the top half of the paper. If you finish early, decorate around RAP section.13

Glue or staple pocket to the WOW section.

Write word on front of card.Draw a picture or example of vocabulary word.Make sure to use color.If finished early, decorate around Wow section.19

They are unique and simple tools to help students organize the information given to them.They are creative, colorful and meaningful to the student.Can be set up to any subject or grades individual need. There are several methods to setting, but all have some form of information from teacher and students knowledge of such information. Can be used for any subject because of the flexibility to set up your way.They are all visual, using maps, graphs, and illustrations. Intrapersonal because allows students reflect on how the information pertains to them.

Notebooks allow students to take pride in the work completed throughout the year.Students decorate in colorful unique ways and make each notebook individual. Which pushes students to keep them neat, colorful, and organize. This allows them to express them selves.Students take ownership of their work and want to keep track of it because of the ownership.It promotes and improves students note taking skills which in turn helps them with their study skills.Easy to grade and when a student has missed a day they can look on a friends notebook to see what they had missed.
