Introduction“The inter library loan means sharing of the resources of one library by the other libraries on demand, when they are needed by its user i.e. sharing one’s scholarly materials with others”.It also called as DDS, Inter lending, resource sharing, etc.

The sharing of library resources started with the concept of inter library loan, under which a library can get a document from another library on loan for a certain period.

All libraries can’t procure all the information.Due to;• Tremendous increase of resources.• Lack of space in libraries.• Lack of BudgetAnd to fulfill the need of our users.

ProcessInterlibrary loan has two operations: borrowing and lending.

• Lending: Books, Articles, other project related information (For Internal Members ).
