Mr Rosenbaum explained some of the roles that the local council performs to the students before planng the tree.

Local Government WeekYesterday, as part of Local Government Week, our Mayor, Mr John Rosenbaum visited our school and planted an orange tree with assistance from our school captains, Jarrod Commons and Makayla Battams. The P&C are looking at ‘School Shades’ sunglasses for students. If you would like your child/children to have a pair of shades, please complete the following expression of interest and return to school by Friday 14 August. The shades would: * integrate with the school uniform, come in sizes S,M & L, have the school’s name printed on the side arm, have an I.D. panel for each child’s name to be written for easy identification, come with a hard-cover case and clip to attach to a schoolbag, polishing cloth and are fully compliant with the highest AS/NZ 1067:2003 UV rating.
