l ME3Gas project offers a complete ecosystem for providing energy efficiency services.
ME3Gas Ecosystem Differential factors
10/17/13
l The new ecosystem of ME3GAS solution generates a clear business opportunity with differential aspects of improvement / innovation that are not covered to date.
l Currently on the market, there are only vertical solutions oriented to one of the service models.
l The ME³GAS solution will provide an overall open solution for both service models (middleware system / smart utility meter). This solution stands out towards the existing market for some differentiating factors:
l The ME3Gas project will offer an integrated energy efficiency management service, which comprises the following elements:
l The integration of this elements is a unique selling proposition offered to the final customer.
l Secondary business opportunities can be exploited, offering these elements separately.

Business Opportunities Methodology l There have been identified various business opportunities, establishing a
methodology for each of them.
l The aim of this methodology has been to establish the mechanism for analyzing all opportunities and going deeper into the business plan.
l The methodology consists of defining the following parameters for each business opportunity: § Key elements
§ Business model
§ Market analysis (current market conditions / commercial opportunities)
§ Industry competitors analysis
§ Viability analysis – Business case
§ Use case
§ Risk analysis

This is the BDC developed by S A C w h i c h i s a b l e t o communicate with the different kinds of meters, both ZigBee and W-MBUS gas meters and electricity meters.
The BDC is based on a Power PC microcontroller which runs a Linux operating system where the application protocols are run.
Data is transmitted to the ME3Gas middleware platform so they can offer it for the consumer and is also sent to the utilities.
