Ever の使いかたこの言葉はよく間違えて理解されています。まずeverはほとんどの場合疑問文や否定文で英語のテキストに出てきますが多くの英語学習者が知らない使い方が肯定文で使われるever です。普段テキストで出てくる例文Have you ever been to Disneyland?　今までに行った事ありますか？ I havenʼt ever (=never) been there. いまだかつそこに行ったことはありません。

Everは肯定文でよく使われるのですが間違った使い方は　　X-I have ever been to Tokyo Disneyland　　今までにTokyo Disneyland に行った事があると言いたいのだと思いますが、正しい言い方はI have been to Tokyo Disneyland beforeです。

Everは分かりやすさのために「今までに」と訳されますが、詳しく言うと『どの時の一点をとっても』という意味になります。ですからeverが肯定文で使われる時とは人生の中でどの時の一点をとってもあの映画が一番最高であった。That movie was the best I have ever seen!

「人生の中で～が一番だった」という表現が入ることにより正しい使い方になります

as.....as everという表現は少し意味が違ってくる。意味は「相変わらず」という意味になるYou are as beautiful as ever あなたは相変わらず美しいI am as busy as ever 私は相変わらず忙しいHe is as tough as ever 彼は相変わらずタフだ
