Determination of Thermal Properties:– Total Solar Reflectance (according to ASTM E903-01)– Thermal Emissivity (according to ASTM C1 371-04a)– Solar Reflectance Index (according to ASTM E1980-0 1)Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) is determined according to ASTM E1980-01. This method uses the measured TSR (according to ASTM E1903-01) and measured thermal emittance (according to ASTM C1371-04a). SRI gives an estimation of the steady state surface temperature and is quoted at three different convective coefficients (hc) at high (6-10ms-1), medium (2-6 m.s-1) and low (0-2m.s-1) wind speeds. A value of 100 is considered to be the reference white surface and a value of 0 the reference black surface.

Kingspan's Colours
Kingspan uses prepainted coloured metals in the manufacture of its insulated panel products and ancillaries such as flashings/trims.We offer a wide range of coatings with various designs and technical properties that are available for:
External Applications Internal Applications
– Prepainted coloured metals are generally referred to by their top coat (e.g. PVC, PU, PVDF) and can have different textures (e.g. leathergrain, smooth, high-gloss).
– Interior and exterior prepainted metal facings are key to defining an insulated panel’s performance, durability and appearance.
Special Applications
