Instructions for how to log your child into Google Classroom

Go on to Google Chrome and type in google drive.

Select the first search option - Google Drive: Free Cloud Storage for Personal Use

Click on “Go to Google Drive” in the Personal section.

Enter your child's school google address

It will be First name followed by first letter of surname @jubilee.lambeth.sch.uk

I.e. If the name is John Smith then: [email protected]

Then enter the password. This has been provided in the accompanying letter or will be in the

child’s reading record if they joined mid school year. (children in year 4-6 will know this as they use

it regularly.)

Click on the 9 dots next to where it says G suite.

Click on Classroom.

This will show your child’s class or learning group.

Click on it to see the virtual classroom.

The home screen will show messages from the teachers, this could be a general message or announcing

what work has been set for the day.

This is where you will find the work that has been set. Click to access the work.

You will find the resources and the assignment or task at the bottom. Click on view assignment or task.

Click on add or create and select the relevant google program.

i.e. to record answers use google docs.

This means the teacher will be able to access the child’s document and give feedback if necessary.
