1.1 MANUAL INTENDED USE
Who is this manual intended for?Thismanualisintendedforthepurchaseranduserofthecarrier,whoisalsoresponsibleforkeepingitinpropercondition,carryingoutmaintenanceasprescribedandperformingrepairs.
1.2 CARRIER INTENDED USE
Use as intendedThecarrierisintendedforusewithintheperformancerangesspecifiedforthecarryingofchildrenindaylighthours,onsidewalksandsmoothpaths.Luggagemayalsobecarriedinthestoragebagsintendedforthatpurpose,providedthechildreninthecarrierarenotputatrisk.
Ifthechildcarrierisusedinconditionsofpoorvisibility,atduskorinthehoursofdarkness,itishighlyrecommendedtobefittedwithasafetyapprovedworkinglightset.Aspartoftherecommendeduse,youshouldalsofollowthisOwner’sManualandcomplywiththeprescribedmaintenancerequirements.

carrierbygivingitasharppull.F. Repeatfortheotherwheel.G. Usingatirepressuregaugechecktheairpressure
ineachtire.Theminimumrecommendedtirepressureis20psi(1.4bar)andthemaximumis25psi(1.7bar).Ifairpressureistoolowineitheroneofthetiresfillthemupusingabicycletirepump.

3.6 INSTALLING THE FRONT WHEEL
A. Unfoldthefender,byliftingitupandslidingittothesideuntilitsnapsinplace.(Seeimage1)
B. Installquick-releaseskewerintothefrontwheel: (Seeimage2)
i. Unscrewandremovethequick-releaseknob. ii. Removeoneofthesprings. iii. Insertthequick-releaseskewerthroughthe
joggingwheel. iv. Replacethespringbackontothequick-release
skewer,narrowendpointinginward,towardthefrontwheel.
v. Replaceandtightenthequick-releaseknob.C. Installthefrontwheelintothewheeldropouts.

WARNINGAlways make sure that the skewer is correctly installed. An incorrectly tensioned quick-release skewer may lead to loss of the front wheel.

4.1 SETTING THE PARKING BRAKE

B. Afterengagingthebrakealwaysverifythattheparkingbrakeisworking–thecarriershouldnotrollforwardsorbackwards.
C. Pullupontheredfootpedaltoreleasetheparkingbrake.(Seeimage2)

Theparkingbrakeshouldalwaysbeengagedduringtheloadingandunloadingofchildren.
NOTICENo adjustments of the parking brake are required.
4.2 CHILD PLACEMENT AND SEATBELT

bypressingtheredreleasebuttonsandsqueezingthesidesofthebuckle.(Seeimage1)
D. Seatyourchild(ren).E. Slidetheshoulderbeltheightadjustmentlocatedonthe
verticalwebstraps,intheseatback,tothesameheightasyourchild(ren)'sshoulders.(Seeimage2)
F. Liftupthecrotchstrapandinsertthetwoshoulderstrapbucklesintothecrotchbuckle.
G. Snuglytightenthetwoshoulderstrapsbypullingdownwardontheshoulderstraplooseends.Ensurethatthereisnoloosenessintheharnesssystematthechild'swaistandshoulders.Ensuretheshoulderpadsarepositionedontopofthechild`sshouldersandnexttotheirneck.(Seeimage4)

WARNINGThis seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months. For younger children a Thule infant accessory must be used.
Always use the restraint system.
Check that the pram body or seat unit or car seat attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.

Metal ComponentsCheckforanydentsorcracks.Donotusethechildcarrierifanymetalcomponentsarecrackedordamaged.
FastenersRegularlyexaminethechildcarriertoseeifanyofthefastenersarebent,broken,missingorloose.Tightenanyloosefastenersandreplaceanydamagedormissingfasteners.
FabricExaminethefabricregularlyfortears,wornspotsoranyothersignsofdamage.
WheelsCleanthewheelaxlesandapplygreaseoroiltoallexposedmovingparts.Havethewheelsinspectedandservicedatleastonceayear.Itishighlyrecommendedthatyoutakeyourchildcarrierintoanauthorizedserviceprovideronceayeartokeepitinthebestpossiblecondition.Regularlycleanthechildcarrierwithwarmwaterandamildsoapysolution.Neveruseharshcleansersorsolvents.

Thischildcarrierisverydurableandallowsyoutotransportyourchild(ren)forlongperiodsoftime.Itissubjecttowearandtearovertimedependingonseveralfactors.
