1. Installation

Available for both Android Version 7 Nougat and iOS Version 10. Search for WIM Service or Kistler or scan the following QR Code.

2. Accounts

There are two different kinds of accounts:Company accountInstallers

• Per customer one so called “Company admin” account is available when signing up (red circle).

• The Company admin is able to invite Installers by himself, without any interaction from Kistler. All opened Installers including their respective sites are displayed to the Company admin (red area). Installers only see their own opened sites.

• Once the registration has been confirmed by Kistler a successful login with the credentials of the Company account is possible. The registration requires you to fill in your installer certification number, which is to be found on your installer certificate. The registration PIN is 56208492. Otherwise contact your local Kistler Sales.

3. Opening a new site

• Click “Add new site”. It is not mandatory to have internet access during the process.

• Take a picture of the construction plan.• You can not change it later.

• The app locates the site automatically.• Fill in the textboxes.

4. Edit site

• One sensor and one lane is opened by default. • Add sensors and lanes as seen in the picture

above.

• Add a lane trough longclicking in the red marked area.

• Add lanes to all road markings.

• Add sensor trough longclicking in the red marked area.

• Each sensor is attached by the app to a lane (green line).

• The sensor takes the lane which is the closest to his right.

• The sensor then is coupled with the lane’s information about temperature and installation information.

• If a lane is deleted, all the attached sensors are deleted as well.

5. Add data to sensors

• Open the sensor menu by clicking shortly on the sensor button.

• Scan the barcode of the sensor or type it in manually.

• 1x, 2x and 3x are different zoom levels. The lightning activates the flashlight.

• Trough swiping (touching from the display edge towards the middle) it is also possible to delete the sensor.

• The same applies to lanes.

• After filling in all the information, save the sensor.

6. Add data to lanes

• Add all the information necessary. Steps 1 – 5 are various steps troughout the installation process.

• It is necessary to add the temperature in the text box as well as to take a photo of the thermometer.

• Trough clicking the arrow (red) it is possible to change the direction of the lane.

7. Submitting process

• After adding all necessary information to lanes and sensors they should have turned all green. Otherwise something is missing. Save the site.

• Activate it to submit the site. It is not possible to change the site after that step anymore!

• Trough swiping to the right a green arrow is shown.

• The app asks if it’s possible to synchronize now.

Otherwise it need to be done manually. The synchronization can be found in the top left corner.

8. Site approved

• As soon as the Kistler Service Engineer approved the site, the app displays a notification. In addition, the responsible account receives an email. It is possible that the Service Engineer also attaches a message to it, which is displayed in the red circle.

• It’s necessary to synchronize the app after receiving the message (either trough app-notification or via mail) of the Service Engineer.
