General This smoke alarm device uses photoelectric technology. It is designed for detecting smoke in the air, not for sensing heat, gas or flame. If the smoke alarm is properly mounted and maintained, it will be activated at the very start. The smoke alarm is designed to detect smoke, it can not prevent a fire. Please read the instruction manual carefully before you use this smoke alarm. The “device” hereinafter stands for “smoke alarm device”. 2. CAUTION: The built-in Lithium battery of the product can not be replaced. Standby time is 10 years at normal use condition. The device is working if the LED indicator is flashing and a continuous "Beep" alarm sounds when pressing the Test/Hush button. Note: To switch the device OFF, put the small magnet back into place. If there is no LED light flashing and a successive "Beep" alarm signal is given when the Test/Hush button is pressed, the device has been switched OFF. 5. Mounting The smoke alarm should be mounted in the following places: at least one in each room one on each floor, if the floor is large, two or more smoke alarms should be installed in the hallway and staircase in the living room in each bedroom in the storage room or spaces with electric equipment The alarm should not be mounted in the following places: a room in which the temperature can drop below 0˚C or rise above 50˚C in damp rooms in front of doors or windows near a ventilator or radiator. In Standby mode, press the Test/Hush button to enter Hush mode. 2. In the state of an alarm, press the Test/Hush button to enter Hush mode. 3. The whole process of the Hush mode lasts for 9 minutes. 4. In the Hush mode, hold the Test/Hush button until 10-16 Fig.12 acoustic alarm signal is emitted. The device exits the Hush mode and returns to Standby mode. Attention: 1. In Standby mode or during an alarm, press the Test/Hush button to enter Hush mode. The LED indicator will flash once every 10 seconds. Hold the Test/Hush button until the acoustic alarm signal is emitted and the device will exit Hush mode. 2. The device will not enter Hush mode if the Test/ Hush button is pressed with a long hold. It will enter Hush mode only with a short press of the button. 3. When the device is in Standby mode or Hush mode, please pay close attention to the time interval of the flashing LED. If the LED flashes once every 10 seconds, it’s in Hush mode. If the LED flashes once every 344 seconds, it’s in Standby mode. 4. On Hush mode, the device gives a normal alarm when the smoke concentration in the ambiance is more than 4 times of alarming value. every 10 seconds 7.5 Low battery When the device is in low-battery condition, it will sound a Beep” once every 43 seconds. 7.6 Malfunction or end-of-life When the device malfunctions or reaches its end of life, it will sound a continuously “Beep” every 43 seconds. Precautions for use Test regularly Do not paint Do not use this device in dusty or smoky ambiance. Both designed device lifetime and battery standby time is 10 years. The sealed Lithium battery is not replaceable. This device is not designed to prevent a fire. Hence, it is necessary to take precautions against a fire such as allocating extinguishers, emergency ladders and fire blankets. Users with a hearing disorder may not be made aware of the audible alarm when this device is used. WE will not be made liable for loss and / or damage , including incidental and/ or if device was not used according to the instructions and/ or consequential loss, arising from the fact that the signal from the smoke alarm did not sound during smoke or fire. 13-16 IMPORTANT When the device is alarming or in standby mode, press the Test/Hush button once to enter Hush mode. To switch to power ON, unscrew the bottom cover and remove the small magnet (Fig.3).

CAUTION: The built-in Lithium battery of the product can not be replaced. Standby time is 10 years at normal use condition.

The device is working if the LED indicator is flashing and a continuous "Beep" alarm sounds when pressing the Test/Hush button.

Note: To switch the device OFF, put the small magnet back into place. If there is no LED light flashing and a successive "Beep" alarm signal is given when the Test/Hush button is pressed, the device has been switched OFF.

6. MountingThe smoke alarm should be mounted in the

following places:

• at least one in each room

• one on each floor, if the floor is large, two
