Installment Payment Plan

for Fall 2020

Before starting, please read the below information carefully:

1. The Installment Plan is available to students with good payment records at NYIT;

2. The link is available in CASHNet, your NYIT Student Account;

3. It must be set up in USD;

4. The Enrollment Fee of USD$35.00 is added to the first installment;

5. The first installment must be paid on the day you enroll in the plan;

6. The Bursar Clearance Hold is removed within 24 hours after the first installment payment is

posted to your account;

Late fees:

o USD$10.00 per instalment charged by CASHNet after 10 days;

o USD$390.00 non-refundable Late Payment could be applied by NYIT at any time after the due date of an unpaid installment;

Payment methods for the plan:

o USD Credit Card (CASHNet): incur a convenience fee of 4.25% if using a Canadian or international credit card;

o Flywire: USD converted to another currency based on Flywire current conversion rate

Number of installments:

o 5 if you enroll in the plan by June 14;

• Payments: on the day you enroll | July 15 | August 15 | September 15 | October 15

o 4 if you enroll in the plan between June 15 and July 14.

• Payments: on the day you enroll | August 15 | September 15 | October 15

o 3 if you enroll in the plan between July 15 and August 14.

• Payments: on the day you enroll | September 15 | October 15

o 2 if you enroll in the plan between August 15 and September 14.

• Payments: on the day you enroll | October 15

1. Check how much you need to pay in USD for the Fall 2020 term.

2. Check your account Current Balance:

• If you have a positive amount: pay your outstanding balance before enrolling in the Installment Plan

• If you have a negative amount: deduct the amount from the total fee to be paid

Enrollment Instructions

3. Click on “Enroll in the Fall 2020 Installment Plan”.

4. Enter the total amount you want to enroll in Payment Plan in USD.

5. Read the Installment Plan details, Terms and Conditions.

6. Check the payment schedule.

7. If you are ready to enroll, check the agreement box and accept.

Pay on the day you enroll in the plan including Enrollment Fee of USD$35.

8. Enter “Student Date of Birth” (month/day/year).

9. Enter “Phone Number”.

10. Choose payment method.

Installments Payment Instructions

• Never go directly to Flywire website to pay for an installment. Payment must be initiatedand submitted through CASHNet to Flywire.

• Note that Flywire payments take up to 5 business days to be posted in your student

account.

• We recommend you to pay around 5 business days BEFORE the due date.

3. Click on “Proceed”

4. Click on “Checkout”

5. Choose payment method:
