Install bearings in a clean environment. Check the bearing housing, shaft and bearing components to ensure that it is clean.
The bearings should be left in the original packaging until the moment before installation to prevent pollution.
Size and shape tolerances of all components in contact with the bearing should be checked.
The diameter of cylindrical shaft neck, usually uses a micrometer to measure each of the four points of the
three planes. Survey record forms can be obtained here. Filling out the measurement records and archives
appropriately helps future tracking.

Install Program
Wipe off the rust inhibitor in bearing bore and the cylindrical surface.
If bearings greased and use in extremely high or low temperatures, or grease and rust inhibitors are not compatible, it need to be carefully cleaned and
dried.
Axis is an interference fit
Slightly lubricate the hole of the bearing with mineral oil.
Ensure that the bearing is vertical with axis after installed.
When installing, use appropriate sleeve to force on the inner ring.
The bearing box for the interference fit
Slightly lubricate the outer peripheral surface of the bearing with mineral oil.
Ensure that the bearing is vertical with bearing box after installed.
When installing, use the appropriate sleeve to force on outer ring.
Shaft and bearing box for interference fit
Slightly lubricate the inner-hole of the bearing with mineral oil.
Slightly lubricate the outer peripheral surface of the bearing with mineral oil.
Ensure that the shaft and bearing box are perpendicular to the axis after adapted and installed.
When installing, use the appropriate sleeve to force on the inner and outer rings at the same time.
Push the bearing to the correct location.
Fit with locking devices.
Determine shaft or outer ring can easily turn.
Bearings lubricate using oil, pay attention to use the correct lubricants and dosage.
Bearings lubricate using grease, be coupled with the grease.
If the bearing is to be put into the shaft and the bearing box both, grease may needs to earlier be added.
Under normal circumstances, this bearing should be completely filled grease, except applied to high speed. Fill grease in the remaining space in the bearing
box (approximately 30-50%).

Under normal circumstances, bearing temperature is higher than the axis of 80 to 90 ° c (144 to 162 ° f) is enough to install.
The heating temperature is not higher than 125 ° c (257 ° f), you should not use an open flame heating.
Wear antifouling gloves to extract the bearings after heating.
Mount the bearings on the shaft and pushed onto the shaft at the shoulder, holding position until it is

Re-installation the bearing without damage in the same position and direction on the shaft. Mark the relative position of each of the bearing, for example,
which part is upward, and which is facing inwardly.
If the bearing is damaged, it may be necessary to check and analysis bearings and other components to identify the cause and take corrective measures. So
you should remove as careful as possible to keep bearing undisturbed.
Study the actual drawings and bearings arrangement.
During the demolition process, ensure that the appropriate support of shaft or bearing box.

Remove bearing using the puller.
The following recommendations are based only on the dimension. Removal must take into account the actual tie between components. Corrosion of
component and other conditions could lead to the greater removal force.
If possible, hold the bearing inner ring or adjacent components (such as the labyrinth sealing ring) with puller.
Pull the inner ring with uniform force, until it is completely out of the axle.
Puller should be accurate on center in removal, or it easily damages the journal. Use the puller in center automatically to prevent this situation.
Puller cannot grab the inner ring, seize the outer ring.
If bearings have to be used again or other reasons which prevent bearing damaged, but only the outer ring loads, you must rotate the outer ring to remove.
Fix puller screw, turn the puller removing bearings.

If there is no holes shoulder in the bearing box, you can remove the bearing by hammering outer ring with
appropriate sleeve. If an interference fit tighter, you may need to use a compressor.
You can use an ordinary hammer, whose head is not soft metals, because it may cause debris and into the bearing.
If the bearing is on the side of shaft, you can use the soft metal punch or puller.
