Statement of Conviction

• Inspiration is alive, it does not breathe oxygen but a combination of perseverance, passion, creativity and free will.

• IA serves as an outlet for the finding and spreading of inspiration.• This group is designed to share and inspire constructive ideas. We strongly

support the belief that our generation can facilitate a better society and by extension future. No issue is faux pas and the mutual respect for individuals and their personal experience is of paramount importance.

• Inspiration Alive accepts the membership of any persons despite racial, ethnic, societal, physical and/or biological differences. The enduring respect between our membership is most important to us.

Defining Inspiration

• Inspiration implies motivation, which is to say that it involves the energization and direction of behaviour; inspiration is evoked rather than initiated directly through an act of will or arising without apparent cause and inspiration involves transcendence of the ordinary preoccupation or limitations of human agency. (Thrash & Elliot, 2003).

The Focus• Create simple, cost efficient, communal and social

media driven campaigns. Campaigns increase awareness of contemporary issues and events on a local and global scope.

• IA focuses on three areas; (1) environmental awareness, (2)social activism and (3) designing the future. Our resolve is to find social, scientific and design solutions within these areas.

• IA seeks to participate with youth and socially active organization with these campaigns.
