The only way that we can
live, is if we grow. The only
way that we can grow is if we
change. The only way that
we can change is if we learn.
The only way we can learn is
if we are exposed. And the
only way that we can become
exposed is if we throw
ourselves out into the open.
Do it. Throw yourself.”

When one door of happiness
closes, another opens; but
often we look so long at the
closed door that we do not
see the one that has opened
for us. Helen Keller Helen Keller Helen Keller Helen Keller

inSight Women’s Circle is for women in the Gladstone region who are searching for a group to support and encourage them.
The journey through life has many challenges, and each of us can benefit from a suppor&ve group around us to help us through.
The group runs to not just offer women support but to develop some skills to step forward in their lives, so that they can live, love, and grow regardless of their circumstance or stage of life.
The aim is for women to walk away stronger, wiser, and more confident in themselves, knowing their inherent worth and value.
Who can come along?
Any women can come to inSight Women’s Circle who are looking for emo&onal and rela&onal support. However we also encourage other good women from the community to come along and par&cipate as supporters. Supporters will be trained up in how to stand by another who may be in distress, and will also walk away from the experience stronger, wiser, and more confident.
Par&cipants and supporters are advised that, as this is a group for women, it is not appropriate to bring children along. If however, child minding is required please contact the HopeLINK office to see if special arrangements can be made.
What will it be like?
The group will be lead by a group leader, and guidance and insight will be provided by the group mentor. These women are volunteers who have given their &me and dedica&on to achieve be2er outcomes for par&cipants.
Women who come are invited to share their story of what is happening for them, and will be listened to.
While inSight Women’s Circle is supported by HopeLINK and Shed 19, the group is not conducted with direct religious content. All present are en&tled to believe what they want to believe without coercion.

How do I get in touch?
Anyone wan&ng to par&cipate or refer another can contact the HopeLINK office to confirm the date of the next mee&ng.
If a par&cipant wants to know more, an appointment can be made with the group mentor to discuss what is going on for them, however this is geared towards preparing to a2end the group rather than individual therapy.
Supporters can also register their interest by contac&ng the HopeLINK office.
Supporters may become available for one-to-one support for women who a2end the inSight Women’s Circle.
