Yoga, Meditation and Eponicity

Our purpose at Insight Eco Tours is to create off the beaten path retreats for seekers to transform undiscovered parts of themselves in

sacred surroundings. Our retreats offer a PAUSE from life & daily routines and returns us

back to the natural world, reconnecting to our bodies both physically and spiritually.

We open a door to those who desire to step out of their comfort zones & awaken their spirit, creating new tools to navigate life's

unpredictabilities. Nancy Doyle teaches inspired yoga and meditation to all levels of

experience, with the purpose of establishing a sustainable practice.

Caroline Nielsen blends her passion to create unique wellness adventures as well as providing Polarity Energy Therapy.

In this retreat Nancy and Caroline are also partnering with Eponicity to offer Equine Facilitated Learning.

No prior horse experience is necessary

Equine Facilitated Experiential Learning (EFL)

How does it work? The horse, a highly sensitive animal, has finely tuned its senses to understand intention over its 60 million years of evolution. The horse’s survival depends upon this ability. Human intention is reflected in our emotional state and studies indicate that the electromagnetic field (shown to surround the heart) changes according to our emotions. Horses pick up on these electromagnetic fields, thus sensing our emotions, and through their behavior they reflect back to us what they sense in that moment, helping us see it too.

Activities encourage us to look within ourselves to find balance, regain strength, renew spirit, (re)discover our power, the ability to play and experience joy

EFL exercises can help us to raise our consciousness to unlock old patterns and surface the troubling emotions that block us from feeling

the emotions we prefer feeling, like joy, happiness and contentment.

During any free afternoon, you are invited to sign

up for a private Alignment Hour with Nancy. This

is an opportunity for you to focus on

modifications or more advance postures so that you may learn about your body and enjoy your

daily practice.

We will begin our day with a meditation followed

by a vinyasa flow yoga, focusing on breath and

alignment.

Yoga/Meditation

Our afternoon/evening practices will be of a more

restorative nature, offering longer holds and deep

opening. This practice promotes deep and

revitalizing rest.

We will practice on the beautiful, open air, natural wood yoga deck at Leaves

and Lizards

This daily practice will help us find center in

mind and body and open us to experience the

beauty and wonder of each day.

Leaves and Lizards is a sanctuary in the rainforest at the base of the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica. Surrounded by glorious nature,

away from the stresses of daily life, guests are nourished with farm-to-table fresh food, natural water, comfortable accommodations,

massage and yoga, all provided by caring staff on-site.
