Insight:

My internship at St. Luke’s was a complete level-up from the simple things I do on community pharmacy. Here you will learn how the pharmacists work in every department and how organized the system is in order to give maximum care to the patients. What I love most was we were able to see, take part, and (maybe) work in each of the departments to get not just a picture of it, but an experience all intended for learning. In short, we were exposed and allowed to receive the knowledge we expected to obtain. Also, the staff were all friendly, entertaining and were eager to answer every question we ask while on duty. Lastly, my co-interns made my 200-hour worth the stress.

Most memorable experiences? Every time I get to be assigned on the Oncology Department. They were fun to be with and by fun, I mean watching movies while on duty and even letting the interns showcase their talents. The best part is we’re always given extra hours for lunch and they share their food with us every time.
