PCRMC’s vision for cancer care is patient centered. Throughout the process – from screening to diagnosis to treatment and then survivorship – the goal of the “cancer care team” is to be with the patient every step of the way with the latest possible techniques. The institute will provide a seamless transition between services, whether it is radiation, surgery, or oncology for our patients.
Some recent accomplishments include:
▪ A Genetics Counselor has been added to our team as a benefit to our patients and staff.
▪ The cancer research program currently has 9 patients enrolled in the study by Cancer Research
of the Ozarks, and we are the largest participant.
▪ PCRMC received a new Three-Year Accreditation with Commendation from the American College of Surgeons. This followed an on-site evaluation during which the facility showed a commendation level of compliance that represents the full scope of the cancer program.
