There are a total of 200 courtside seats on the floor in Pauley Pavilion for UCLA Men’s Basketball games, two rows across the sideline and two rows along each baseline. Fans sitting in courtside seats feel like part of the action with the closest and most personal view of the game. To qualify for courtside seats there is an annual tax-deductible minimum donation requirement to the Wooden Athletic Fund. There is no additional season ticket price. As donors, the NCAA has defined you as a “representative of UCLA’s athletic interests” (commonly known as a booster) and you are bound by NCAA rules and ultimately, UCLA Athletics is held responsible for your actions. As a new monthly feature of the Inside UCLA Athletics Development, we will provide you with “key rules you need to know” and important reminders to help you keep NCAA rules compliance in mind while continuing your enthusiasm and dedication to UCLA Athletics. Please Leave Recruiting to the Coaches With the anticipation and excitement of the February 5 signing day on Bruin fans’ minds, please remember that recruitment of prospective student-athletes is the sole responsibility of the UCLA coaching staff, and boosters may not be involved in the recruiting process. NCAA rules forbid booster contact with the prospect or anyone associated with the prospect in an effort to persuade them to attend UCLA. No face to face contact, phone calls, emails, texts or tweets can be made with a recruiting purpose. Also, you cannot provide prospects with anything of value (cash, loans, gifts, services, etc.) that might be considered an inducement to persuade them to enroll at UCLA. As a new monthly feature of the Inside UCLA Athletics Development, we will provide you with “key rules you need to know” and important reminders to help you keep NCAA rules compliance in mind while continuing your enthusiasm and dedication to UCLA Athletics.

Please Leave Recruiting to the CoachesWith the anticipation and excitement of the February 5 signing day on Bruin fans’ minds, please remember that recruitment of prospective student-athletes is the sole responsibility of the UCLA coaching staff, and boosters may not be involved in the recruiting process. NCAA rules forbid booster contact with the prospect or anyone associated with the prospect in an effort to persuade them to attend UCLA. No face to face contact, phone calls, emails, texts or tweets can be made with a recruiting purpose. Also, you cannot provide prospects with anything of value (cash, loans, gifts, services, etc.) that might be considered an inducement to persuade them to enroll at UCLA.
