I wonder, as they increase class size, will our next year’s district report card get worse overall grades?

No, we do not expect that to happen. Overall, class size has been increased by two students. At the elementary level, student-to-teacher ratios are 24:1 for K-2 and 26:1 for grades 3-5. We have brought efficiency to the staffing process, so that there is equity based on number of students and needs, such as ELD and school improvement status.
