We continue to have good fortune and success here at Bannerville and the School Spirit Lab. Two and a half years ago, we set out to supplement our light pole banner client list by expanding our product line. After careful study of our business, we decided to target the education field – we developed the School Spirit Lab to assist school administrators, teachers and coaches in their efforts to make their schools, classrooms and athletic fields friendlier and more spirited.

While our long time clients continue to allow us to produce and install light pole banners for some spectacular events (the NFL Draft, the America’s Cup World Series, and the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle to name a few), we have also added some great new clients like the Village of Lombard and Navy Pier in Chicago to our client list.

At the same time, our customer list of Chicago area schools continues to grow. Over the last few months, we have added schools like Hester Middle School in Franklin Park, Brother Rice HS in Chicago, and Ida Crown Jewish Academy in Skokie to our list of happy customers.

We take our obligation to our customers very seriously. We want to be able to give you all the finest products today’s technology can print, and have those products installed in the most professional manner possible.

To meet this obligation we are constantly updating our equipment, and educating our employees to keep pace with the changing print industry.

In April, two of our employees (Neil, our Production Manager, and Mike, our Assistant Lead Installer) completed the 3M Advanced Installer Training Program at 3M’s Corporate Headquarters in St.

Paul, MN. This three day course covered advanced installation techniques for all of 3M’s wall, floor, and vehicle graphics.

This month, Candace, who is our Design Department Manager, will be attending the “Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders” program at Yale University. This is a one

week program, co-sponsored by AIGA (the Professional Association for Design) and the Yale School of Management..

We are proud of all of our employees, and their commitment to excellence!

We dressed up the Hinsdale Central Girls’ Locker Room with 9 decal graphics, using action shots from various female sports. These graphics are protected with a graffiti proof laminate.

In April of this year, Bannerville was fortunate to land a one year contract

with the Village of Lombard. During the next year, we will be responsible for installing and maintaining their light pole banner project throughout the Village.

Lombard has approximately 300 light poles in the Village, which are

decorated 5 times each year with different seasonal banners – Spring lilacs, Summer activities, Autumn leaves, holiday scenes, and a generic Winter theme. There are few companies in the Chicago area that can handle a job of this size for a Village, and we are proud to say that we installed all 300 spring banners in 4 days.
