the park begins to emerge from winter the Friends of Nadaka areexcited to start hosting gardening workshops forest restorationevents nature walks and story time for the little ones There willbe numerous opportunities for you to get outside and spend timewith friends and family this spring

3rd Nadaka Community Planting Eventwhere our volunteers planted over 300native plants and mulched new plantsand paths This year we are focused onrestoring habitat for wildlife andpollinators along the NE Pacific entrancethe main forest loop and the south sideof the meadow by planting Oregongrape roses kinnikinnik and fringecupAs we continue these restoration effortswe are keeping in mind various CPTED(Crime Prevention ThroughEnvironmental Design) concepts whereappropriate As you walk through thepark keep an eye out for these amazing
