VP message to the ANR communityWelcome to the New Year! I am very proud of all weaccomplished in 2014. With retirements and turnovers,360 new staff personnel joined us in 2014, and we hired37 new CE specialists, advisors, academicadministrators and academic coordinators. Weestablished the Nutrition Policy Institute, ratified theCalifornia Naturalist and Master Food Preserverprograms as official ANR statewide programs,completed strategic plans for three Research andExtension Centers, and funded a pilot program for graduate students atBerkeley interested in careers in Cooperative Extension.READ MORE
