ICoIED 2020

The revolution in technology through various innovations and R & D has become the dynamic force for economic development, increased productivity and redefining every sphere of human lives. The proposed International Conference on Innovative Engineering Design (ICoIED 2020) will provide a special platform to share and think globally about the interdisciplinary innovative ideas for the upliftment of the society. The aim of the International conference is to promote innovative ideas among students, young engineers, researchers, scientists, industrialists and professionals working in the field of engineering design. Every technology development of new products is inseparable from the innovative idea and engineering design. It simplifies the manufacturing system and promotes the industrial revolution. The conference will comprise of plenary talks, invited talks, technical sessions, poster presentations, and exhibitions, thus providing a unique opportunity for collaboration between the academia and industries. The conference will be enlightened by renowned speakers from institutions/industries of India and abroad.

About The Institution of Engineers (India)

The Institution of Engineers (India) or IEI is the largest multidisciplinary professional body that encompasses 15 engineering disciplines and gives Engineers a global platform from which to share professional interest. IEI has membership strength of more than 0.8 million. Established in 1920, with its headquarters at 8, Gokhale Road, Kolkata - 700020, IEI has served the engineering fraternity for over nine decades. In this period of time it has been inextricably linked with the history of modern-day engineering.

In 1935, IEI was incorporated by Royal Charter and remains the only professional body in India to be accorded this honour. Today, its quest for professional excellence has given it a place of pride in almost every prestigious and relevant organization across the globe. IEI functions among professional engineers, academicians and research workers. It provides a vast array of technical, professional and supporting services to the Government, Industries, Academia and the Engineering fraternity, operating from 122 Centres located across the country. The Institution has established R&D centres at various locations in the country and also provides grant-in-aid to its members to conduct research and development on engineering subjects.

IEI conducts Section A & B Examinations in different Engineering disciplines, the successful completion of which is recognized as equivalent to Degree in appropriate field of Engineering of recognized Universities of India by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India. About Uttarakhand State Centre

The Institution of Engineers (India), Uttarakhand State Centre was established in the year 2003 and presently operates from its own building near Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT). Approximate 2300 Corporate Members are attached to this centre.

actively organizing seminars, workshops and training.

About National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand (NIT Uttarakhand)

NIT Uttarakhand is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technologies in the

country. NIT Uttarakhand is established in 2009 under the Act of

Parliament by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi.

The Institute offers full-time undergraduate and Postgraduate Program in

six departments covering Engineering and Applied Sciences. NIT

Uttarakhand is also involved in numerous R&D activities funded through

various government and private agencies. Currently, the Institute is

running in two campuses i.e. Parent campus at Srinagar, Pauri Garhwal,

and Satellite campus at MNIT Jaipur.

About Design Innovation Centre, IIT Roorkee

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has established Design

Innovation Center (DIC), funded by Ministry of Human Resource

Development (MHRD), Government of India. The IIT Roorkee is a Hub

and NIT Uttarakhand is one of the spokes for the center. The objective of

the DIC, NIT Uttarakhand is to cultivate the culture of Design and

Innovation within the Himalayan region as well as across the Nation. The

center at NIT Uttarakhand is focusing on innovations in engineering

products, adding value to the available engineering designs and

promoting early stage star tup companies. Various designs and

technologies have been taken by the center for Hilly terrain.

www.nituk.ac.in/icoied. The maximum limit for the full paper including tables,

figures, etc. is 6 pages. Authors are requested to submit the paper in the prescribed format

through https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icoied2020. Selected papers will be

considered for publication in the journal titled “International Journals of the

Institutions of Engineers (India) - Springer” (SCOPUS) and Elsevier Journals (In

Process). The best papers/posters award will be given in each session.
