Project vision & objectiveThe project suggests the intervention for the contribution to socio-economic development in the regions of Istog (KS) and Berane (MNE) through investments in innovation & competitiveness, which would open a distinct paradigm to bringing quality to the tourism sector by introducing innovative technology-savvy products and tourism packages.
The Overall Objective (OO) of the action is to contribute to sustainable economic development by fostering innovation & entrepreneurship in the tourism industry.
Project activities1. Joint steering committee and key
stakeholders to serve as tourism promoters.2. CBC Innovation Hubs in Istog and Berane
to serve as co-working spaces3. Setup online tools facilitating trade, tourism
and communication within the programmearea
4. Promotion of regional products/services through organisation of cross-border events and activities
5. Organizing a competition in the form of startup-week/appcamp for tech and tourism innovations that will further develop the CBC tourism industry
6. Mentoring and development of the innovation coming from the competition
7. Sub-granting the best ideas in the form of new business created

1. Establish a strong regional brand name
2. Encourage daily participation in the CBC Innovation Hub (Co-working space)
3. Bring together the talent and knowledge of the locals and utilize upon that.
4. Implement trainings & workshops (hosting, tourism, digital tools, branding/marketing, entrepreneurship)
5. Implement fun activities (hackathons, movie nights, Euro 2016 etc.)
6. Establish a joint connection between the two countries in order to promote tourism (joint sports, joint trips, joint ventures)
7. Organize the idea competition week
