The Toyo Ink Group has set its domains as a compass which indicates directions in order to show how it will contribute to the consumers, living beings and the global environment. Our Long-term corporate vision SIC27 aims to develop a robust business into the future by strategically building our business in 11 areas.

With the three core directions of Life (healthy lifestyle), Communication (richness of the mind) and Sustainability (realization of a sustainable society) for creating the enrichment of life and culture, our Long-term corporate vision SIC27 focuses on business development in 11 speci�c domains. In the SIC-I, the �rst medium-term management plan for SIC27, we will actively promote business development in six of these 11 domains: Packag-

ing, Medical Healthcare, Mobility, IoT, Energy and Natural Materials.

For each of its business segments, the Toyo Ink Group will further accelerate progress towards our vision by re�ning the technology platforms that are the source of our competitiveness while developing its business in a wide range of domains.

We have de�ned the technology platforms that will serve as the foundation for our business development in the 11 domains as a “framework of technological infrastructure to actively strengthen and acquire necessary technologies.” As for the Long-term corporate vision SIC27, we will acquire and build the following frameworks.

New Fields of Science: A framework for acquiring new �elds of science such as, biology, agriculture and data science, in addition to the chemical �eld.Application Technology: A framework for building technologies in the software �eld such as programming and systems design that are needed for our newly developed business models.Analysis and Processes: A technical framework for re�ecting evidence-based information accurately in developing and proposals to customers.
