Innovation and how is it made

Innovation can be viewed as the application of better solutions that meet

new requirements, in articulated needs, or existing market needs .

The term innovation can be defined as something original and more

effective and, as a consequence, new, that "breaks into" the market or

society .

Innovation = invention + commercial exploitation

Innovations require only three things:

A recognized need,

Competent people with relevant technology, and

Financial support.

Components of Innovation

Three components

A hardware component –consisting of material or physical aspects of

innovation

A Software component – consisting of information base that is needed

to use the innovation .

A evaluation information component – that is useful for decisions related

to the adoption of the innovation.

These component form a system to make it user friendly .
